Any MMORPG gamers out there? I love AION free to play i am playing the European version,
I couldn't wait for the US release of AION Truly Free. Which is better i'll get that one too.
It has the AION 3.0 Update. It will be known as AION Ascension, which i think is the
current expansion pack of the pay to play version! I am so happy now what a way to end
February with a bang with two great happenings. Purchase of Extreme Pleasure Hip &
Free to play AION!

AION Truly Free United States Release It will be released sometime
around this month.

They're are no restrictions within country regions it plays in all regions of the world.
But you may want to wait for the US release which will be 1000x better!
Cant wait to try out the housing features, if its anything like Lord Of The Rings Online
only thing that sucks about LOTRO housing is if you dont pay your bills, you will be
kicked out of your house and all your furniture will be gone stored in a storage place
But Everquest was the first to start this! Also free to play!

Wow no replies? This game could be free to play MMO of 2012!!!
i got it for 2 bux on amazon.com and when you buy it the first month is free
so i wont get charged April 19th. It goes free to play on April 11th 2012!
So much stuff you can don in the game i am highly excited and been playing
the hell out of AION 2.5 Level 13 Cleric. Far much better than WoW
It's just beeing managed wrong and NCsoft doesn't know how to promote
it better.

To be completely honest I've heard nothing but bad things about Aion in the states.  Heard in particular there was a problem with their Anti-cheat program reacting to any sort of IM/media player and causing instabans the week of launch.

I'm playing the TERA open beta this week and if I like the game I'll keep my pre-order and take the leap of faith for the first time into the world of P2P mmo.

Sorry for resurrecting an old topic, but during my stay at Aion F2P, I can't say anything bad about it other than the expected lag at huge crowds in the city.

I cannot say that I will spend any cash in it though (I just do not pick a vibe to spend anything for it). It is free, it was... kinda new.
The only two MMO games that I spend actual money for online content are Vindictus and Guild Wars 2 (which at the moment, not much is on).

I am also planning to spend on Phantasy Star Online 2 when it comes out on PC.

On the other note, I am pulled into having to buy a Wii U now because they will have Monster Hunter on the Wii U. I am a huge sucker for Monster Hunter games.

The WiiU (other than the lack of GameCube compatibility) should have been the Wii in the first place. Though I hate to see how they justify one controller only with bandwidth issue. I am keeping my original Wii.

I actually agree with you there. However, I grew up with Nintendo and I like their games. I go where the games go, not companies. I owned a PS3 as well cuz it has games that I wanted to play.

About the Wii U, I actually quite like the idea of the Tablet Controller. I would love to download some game demos and just play in the comfort of my bed instead of the living room (that's if they can get their act together and get a service like the PSN going.).

I go where the games go, and Monster Hunter has led me to preorder a Wii U. Not to mention the nintendo games that will be out for it.

However, since Monster Hunter won't be out till March, I am actually thinking about selling the Wii U this holiday season to see if it'll make me some money. If it does, maybe the Wii U preorder will actually pay for itself.

Nintendo needs to release some special edition WiiU like Monster Hunter Edition if they want to convince me that their WiiU is worth my while.

I look at my pile of PS3 games I haven't even had the chance to play and look at the WiiU... then think about my Wii collecting dust and all 10 good games they had in 5 years. I think I'll skip this one or maybe wait till they show me it's worth buying.

Monster Hunter was cool but got boring pretty fast because the Wii can't do DLC so you just killed the same monsters till your eyes bled. They should make a Monster Hunter kinda like an MMO and have one huge interactive world where you can live and hunt down monsters like raids and stuff that would be epic!

Btw have you seen the new Monster Hunter Meiki's? haha

Ya, Monster Hunter did get repetitive in the end, but the whole ride towards the end was epic.

I played online with 3 of my other friends and we'd be talking over skype and shouting out our strategies on a monster only to have another monster come and spoil our party. I have never played anything like this before as Monster Hunter Tri was on Wii was my first MH game. There were so many great epic co-op moments in that game that just made me love it so much. The teamwork, the HUGE monster, the sense of ugency.......so awesome.

I have always wished that MH allowed a bigger party, but not too much so that it diminishes your part in a party, in those MMO with like 30+ players fighting a boss, it gets to a point that I don't know if me being there matters or not, but in MH sometimes your Healing Horn, or pit trap is the difference between a successful hunt or not and that's what made it so great. I do wish it has some sort of trading community so that you wouldn't have to grind 1 monster 50 times just to get your weapon/armor.

Still, can't wait for the one on Wii U!

The Monster Hunter Meiki does look hilarious........don't know if I would try it tho, it looks straight out of those Hentai tentacle anime. Someone try it and report back hopefully..lol.
