I received my Iphone 5 this week..the damn thing is sleek as hell and lightning fast compared to my old Iphone 4...which is 2 generations old...haha

So far it's nothing but love for this new toy.. I have had many friends that buys android phone and says the Samsung galaxy S3 is the better phone...I'd say from the aspect of that it can run Flash..yes..but other than that..it's just not as sleek..the phone is bulkier and too wide for 1 handed use..and just the overall cheap plasticky feel to the phone make is disappointing..

Anyone else got the new iphone?? what do you guys think of it.

I am rather disappointed with the product, it really is just a iPhone 4S 2.0.

While it may or may not be related, I refuse to support a product that causes riots and suicides with humanly impossible labor schedules.
Another reason why I painted a black smear on the iPhone 5 (I like the new iPod Nano and Touch), is because the patent war between Apple and Samsung. I told this to others; if Apple were to wage war with HTC or other brands, I still support the other brands. In all honesty, Apple merely thought "Why Not?" and made a product from an existing vision, there is nothing original or innovative about it.

Simply registering a patent for the product does not make them the king of the product. Simply put, thieves should not sue thieves; and both companies are at fault for even starting such a stupid war. I hope Google's case will straighten things out, now with the Apple Maps app plunder and missing Youtube app and all.

I can endorse Macs, iPods and other Apple products like Airport or Time Machine, but "all-new-feature" bullshit after bullshit, I just gave up. They aren't "all-new-features" if they existed on other phones all these years.

True story, I was given a choice between the iPhone 4 or the Blackberry Torch when I first signed for a smartphone + plan (I got my first real job then), and I chose the Torch. HUGE Mistake, I know. In the end however, I switched out of the bloody Torch and moved onto the Galaxy Note. I think I would've done the same thing with the iPhone 4, just maybe I would have saved money and jumped into the Note 2 instead.

I am way too far into the iOS ecosystem to switch to anything else. However, I agree with HardGay. I was also a previous iphone 4 owner and switched to the iphone 5. Even if it's just iphone 4s 2.0. I can't get over how smooth and fast everything works.

To me, iOs is now what I am used to and know. I have a lot of apps that I use daily with it and I don't think I'll be jumping ship in the foreseeable future. If anything, I am about to jump into Macs.

As for the whole lawsuit and labor stuff. To be honest, I just think if it wasn't Apple, someone else would do it. The sad truth is that because there is so much demand, that's what's causing all this crap. If no one wants the iphone, there would be nothing to sue and no labor to talk about.

Personally, all I can say is that having an iphone/ipad/apple tv has made my life a lot easier in terms of staying in touch with the digital world and I LOVE the iphone 5.

I think that's the thing for me. I have the knowledge and the inspiration to support Apple's product (iPhone and iPad excluded), but I don't have the ecosystem needed to fuel the fandom.

Maybe I will get that Macbook Pro with the 3-month financing.

Don't know which one you're looking at, but supposedly they are announcing the Macbook Pro 13" with retina display along with the iPad Mini in their 10/23 event. I am looking to get a Macbook Pro 13" with retina if I like what I hear.
