Hello,

Is it ok to use Baby Bath Liquid (bath liquid soap) as a lubricant for Meiki 5? It doesn't contain any oil, it's water based and safe.

I wouldn't do it.  That stuff isn't supposed to burn if it gets into your eyes... but i think it could still burn if it gets in your urethra.

I would recommend against using soap as a lubricant. In small instances, soap can act as a lubricant but in reality it is an abrasive (which is how it cleans) so you'll end up with irritation over long periods. I would personally recommend Astroglide for lube. I used to use K-Y but it dried out too quickly and I kept having to add more. Astroglide is slightly more slippery and lasts longer. Because of this I can use smaller amounts and it lasts for an entire session (or two). With my Meiki ZYX and Maria, I only need to use 3-4 drops and it will feel like a very wet woman. A single bottle will last me many months. At $8-9, that's quite a bargain, especially considering the immense pleasure it brings. If you're embarrassed about buying it in person you can always order it online from Amazon or many other outlets. I avoid the "gimmicky" lubes like the self-warming ones. After about 30 seconds, it's warmed up on its own anyway. Also, the warming K-Y has a kind of numbing effect on me. This kind of defeats the purpose - I want to feel it more, not feel it less.  Finally, the Astroglide rinses off easily with warm water so it's a snap to clean.
