Just curious how the billing for pre-orders works.  Are we billed when the order is placed or when it is ready to ship? Kudos on the new site features guys, TD just keeps getting better.

Hey TM33,

I ordered the Hanjuku and was charged on the day it shipped, not the day I ordered it.

To clarify on Pre-Order products, you are charged when the order is placed and the product will be shipped out as soon as it arrives at our warehouse. Regarding to Zamentor's experience, the Hanjuku actually arrived early and received at our warehouse so when his order was placed, we shipped it out the same day.

Going forward we will be adding more pre-order items weekly. The pre-order section not only lets you guys order items not currently available on our website but it also gives us a better idea of which items are more interested from everyone. So, if a item on the pre-order page isn't generating any interest at all, it's a pretty good indication to us that we probably do not need to carry a large amount of this product or any at all.

As far as cancellation goes, all pre-order items have a cut-off date. As long as you cancel before the cut-off date, you will receive a full refund. If you try to cancel past the cut-off date, you will only receive a 50% refund. The remaining 50% will be changed into store credit. For example, you pre-order is $100, and you want to cancel after the cut-off date, we will cancel your order and refund you $50. The remaining $50 will be kept on your account as store credit. All promotional bonus points will also be deducted with the cancellation.
