Small beads of grey material coming off ZXY meiki

Hi, first time purchaser here, I decided to go with the popular ZXY meiki. I have only had this meiki for 2 weeks, used it 2 times, and washed it 3 times using a small amount of hand soap in warm water. However, in no time at all, the outer surface of this meiki has gotten very soft and sticky, with small greyish beads of the meiki material seemingly rubbing off of it.
The residue is putty-like and sticky. I noticed it after the initial first wash, thinking it was just a bit of dirt, however, it quickly became apparent that it was coming off the meiki when it started rubbing off around the entire outer surface.
I was very gentle with the meiki, only used the water-based lube included, and washed it in lukewarm water with a bit of hand soap.
I've only seen two other posts on the forum mentioning these beads of sticky, grey, putty-like surface residue, but neither had any answers for it.
Is this normal?

That sucks. I've noticed something similar when using certain types of dispenser soft-soap. I get wrinkles on the outer surface or breakdown of the sleeve material. This does not happen when I use dishwashing liquid or a gentle bar soap such as Dove. The Meiki ZXY is made of PVC, and perhaps some ingredient in your hand soap is hostile to PVC. You can check the ingredients in your soap against a table of chemicals that have been tested with PVC.
