Any Canadians order from ToyDemon?

Any Canadians had success with ordering from ToyDemon?


I would also like to use Canada Posts FlexDelivery option (https://www.canadapost.ca/web/en/pages/fd/default.page?ecid=murl%7Cpdn%7Clh%7C297) It basically ships to the post office via a PO Box address instead of home address for discrete shipping.


Would this work with ToyDemon?

Update:


Received a reply from toydemon and they weren't 100% sure about Flex Delivery.


They said after the package clears customs and goes into Canada, then Canada Posts deals with the package. Which seems to indicate it should work... Flex Delivery just means shipping to a PO Box Address

I don't know what to do now without knowing FOR SURE.

As far as I understand how Flex Delivery works, I think that feature works as long as you're registered with them, but you'll need to have indicated where you want the parcel to be held for reception prior to ordering.

As to whether that logic works from international deliveries, everything seem to line up to say "Yes", because we're assuming they'll have a reference system to say "oh, Mr./Mrs. so-and-so indicated they want it delivered here for pickup".

Thanks for the reassuring reply.

I took a chance and ordered with Flex Delivery over the weekend. Tracking info says it should get here next Wednesday! I'll update this thread with a confirmation

Canadian Toydemon customer here. I've ordered a bunch of stuff from Toydemon and have had no issues thus far. I've recently switched all my online purchases from home delivery to FlexDelivery to my local post office. I've gotten a few parcels (ordered from Canadian online retailers) through FlexDelivery now and it seems like a good deal so far.

I recently bought a couple of sleeves during the recent sale here and decided to try FlexDelivery with this most recent purchase. I was able to track my parcel from the start and saw that it cleared Customs relatively quickly. However, my parcel currently appears to be in tracking limbo. The last tracking entry from Canada Post said that my parcel from Toydemon was on its way to the post office for delivery. No updates since then and no email from Canada Post confirming delivery of my parcel to the designated post office. I'll wait a few days; hopefully it will show up in the system tomorrow or Monday.

Hey Theo, it's great to see a fellow Canadian here!

Seems like my parcel is also in tracking limbo. Cleared customs very quickly but it's been in Mississauga since Thursday. All it says is "Item processed" and that it will be delivered next Wed. I am assuming Canada Post simply hasn't updated the tracking information. A quick Google search seems to confirm this.

I was kind of hoping that if the tracking info failed to update that FlexDelivery e-mail notifications would still be sent out. Seems like it hasn't in your case... Please keep me posted, thank-you.

Btw, what was your estimated delivery date? Just wondering if you have been waiting past that date.
