For the past several weeks I've been scouring the internet, and devouring every review I can find, in search of the perfect "hip" style masturbator.  I've gleaned an enormous amount of information, now perhaps to a fault, as I've now talked myself in and out of what I assumed would be the best choice for my wants and needs a few times over.  I'm writing in hopes that the "experts" here who are willing to share their thoughts may finally help me to put the issue to rest, and pull the trigger on a fantastic toy.

Background:  My wife and I have extensive experience with a wealth of sex toys ranging from the mundane to the bizarre; however, our experience with masturbation sleeves is somewhat limited.  Until now, we have owned and used a few cheap jelly/TPR/silicone sleeves (that left much to be desired), as well as a Fleshlight Tera Patrick model.  The Fleshlight is the best sleeve that we've owned, and it can "get the job done," but it's far from an ideal experience.  If it weren't enough of a downside to be bumping your pelvis to jelly seated within an oversized ring of plastic topping what is overtly NOT a remotely passable flashlight helm... it is not even a satisfying finish.  The Fleshlight is so tight, and so overly sensitizing, that I have to stop moving completely during orgasm.  I'm hoping to remedy this with a proper hip.

Wants/Needs:  It's no secret that I am a complete, undeniable, 100% ass-man.  My favorite sexual position (by a landslide) is woman laying prone on her stomach face-down, with me laying on top, entering her (either hole) from behind.  There's something magical about feeling her juicy ass pushing back against my pelvis while we grind away with delight.  I must be able to replicate something similar with whatever hip we choose.  In addition to that, I would like the product to be durable, so that we can enjoy using it over and over again, without fear of tearing/ruining it, or feeling like I have to reserve it's use for "special occasions."  Beyond this, all other points (ease of cleaning, cost, etc... are secondary, but will play a role of all else is equal).

Other Points of Consideration:  I am above average in the size department, both in length and in girth (for approximation, imagine pulling the cardboard tube out of the center of a roll of toilet paper, then stack about 1.25-1.5 tubes high).  I only bring this up because I want to ensure that an extra small device is not selected that may be more prone to tearing, an extra-shallow device that may be prone to "bottoming-out," or an extra tight-device is not selected that may cause the similar issue with "over sensitivity."

Initial Thoughts: Everything that I have read so far seems to suggest that I cannot go wrong with the Meiki hips.  It seems that the Hera half-hip was made for men like me; but then I hear others raving that the EPH is a better experience. 
-Hera Half Hip - perhaps the ideal hip for what I am seeking, but my only reservation is that I don't want to sell myself short if there is another hip that can perform on par with it for "the position", but offer additional versatility as a bonus.
-My concerns with the EPH is that 1)  the dimensions/opening angles and design seem to suggest that hands free operation of my "favorite position" may not be realistic, and 2) that the "amputated leg" mold will lack that light sensation of lateral squeezing that the real thing (and hopefully a nice hip toy) can provide.  Are these assumptions accurate?  Can anyone with the EPH chime in about hands-free use in this position?
-Meiki Cherry 2/Evolution seems to provide a nice compromise between the Hera and the EPH.  More stout and stable should equate to better hands free experience for "the position", with upper thighs included in the mold.  If this toy can indeed deliver a great experience with "the position" it may edge out on top over the Hera, in that it will be versatile enough to do even more/deliver extra positions as an added bonus.  Anyone with experience with the Cherry 2/Evolution in this regard?
-Pure Hip.  I really liked the idea of the pure hip, but at the end of the day, "doggy style" is not my favorite position (at least in real life) because it takes away so much of the pleasant, soft rounded surface area of an ass in the prone position, and feels more like smacking my pelvis into a padded wall.  Does the Pure Hip feel real in this regard?  Or is the material soft enough that it can mimic "the position" with any amount of realism?  Again, if it can, it may prove to be more versatile than the Hera.
-Or is there another hip made by someone else that I've never even heard of that would suit me better?

I need to stop, as I could go on pouring out these thoughts all night.  For everyone who has made it this far... thanks for sticking with me and reading this in order to get a good idea as to what product would suit me best.  Anyone with thoughts/advice/experience/expertise with these devices, I look forward to hearing from you.  Thanks!

You will Definitely "bottom out" with the Half Hera...but you would also with the Pure Hip.

The Cherry 2/Evo...maybe? I feel that the leg stubs, and the entrance position, might prevent you from even using it in your favorite position (I actually need to return it - I very much dislike it). But! I haven't used it in the position you're a fan of, so others might give better advice/details.

I don't have the EPH so I can't speak to it, but -unless you really want a toy for other positions- I'm guessing you'll prefer the Half Hera.

Oh, and the Pure Hip absolutely replicated that 'smacking' feeling you decribed (which is why I love it!/you would not) - but the material/density of the Half Hera is just So perfect that I pick it up and use it as a 'doggystyle' hip

I would highly recommend the Meiki Extreme Pleasure Hip. It has all the qualities you are looking for with one exception. It isn't durable. My EPH began terracing and finally disintegrated completely after about 50 hours of careful use. I replaced it with Shigoku no Chikara which turns out to be more stimulating (less realistic) but much more durable.

Realistically, our tastes are unique and what works for one will not necessarily work for another. At some point you have to bite the bullet and open your wallet. You can't go wrong with the hips on the ToyDemon website.

Thank you so much for the response.  I'm really glad you replied, because I was on the verge of just saying "screw it" (metaphorically and literally) and order the pure hip anyway... in hopes that I may be able to use it in my desired position.  After seeing your comments, I am glad I did not pull the trigger tonight!  Thanks!  Now what to choose...

Thanks for your advice.  The more I read, the more great things I hear about the EPH... and it keeps drawing me closer.  You are confirming the one negative about the device that I keep hearing though... that it simply will not hold up over time.  I've read some users replacing theirs at 6 mos to 1 year.  I'm especially worried about how it will hold up for me due to my girth... I suspect the toy may tear fairly easily/quickly as such. A lot of money for a short term use toy.  Definitely still a contender on my list though!  Thanks!
