Plush Hip review

TDR review #1 by Hermes

Plush hip part 1

This review is *before* testing where it counts. Skip to part II if that's all you want to read. Unable to attach photo due to size restrictions. My iphone takes at too large a size apparently.

opened 8/16/15

Expectations: A serviceable (if slightly large and rather ugly) hip to use with a wide variety of vaginal sleeves.

Positive surprises: Some unexpected manual surprises. Read on.

First impression: Box arrives from USPS 2-day Priority one corner crushed (joint order with Meiki Cherry Hip 2). On plus side, I entered wrong state but TD shipper caught it and corrected on label. Wrapped in sealed see-thru plastic. Easy to tear open by hand. Rather apropos. Neutral smell. Immaculately clean. Two stitches (single not double-stitched) at top, bottom stitches unviewable so unknown. Do not feel substandard. Company label. Made in China (what isn't?) '18+' warning. Huh? Is there an AOC for masturbation? Perhaps 'corrupting morals of a minor' is a legal risk to seller, even where US  law does not criminalize masturbation by persons of AOC, which can be 14-16 many places. Clearly lawyer stuff. I am over 18, so I have permission. Yawn.

Detailed review (again, I do not test this except visually, manually and in general in this part I review)

EROTIC APPEAL: Visually somewhere between unappealing and neutral - not well-sculpted. But remember I am comparing to *silicon / PVC* works of art like 'Real Doll' of USA ($5000+) and 'Petite Jewel' and Nano ($2000+) of Orient Industry, Japan. If you compare to a fabric doll or not using anything it is a huge improvement and may prove to be great value. After all, this was on sale at a deep discount from its normal $170. Wages not refinancing your house. The price of a rental car for a couple of days not a new automobile. I don't expect miracles.

BTW, I have zero experience with air dolls.

To begin - the size too large, about 25% larger than the Southeast Asian women of 19-21 I am used to in the real world (of 35-45 kilos = 78-> 99 lbs). Either not modeled after a skinny young woman (not even slim by Asian standards) or there are manufacturing issues. I would produce this device in three sizes. 2.5/5

REALISM

Comfy size, fits comfortably on lap, like a European or American adult female. Erotic response even from testing comfort of positions. But I am a doll pervert. Women of course do not have labels on their upper thighs nor tie-strings in intimate areas. Is an improvement in order? Needs 'field testing' to rate

Digitally test orifice, which appears to be satin-lined. I feel like I am a fisting veterinarian. Not a turn on.  As I will not use this empty - N/A

Texture of 'skin' is like fine velour, not like skin as one prolific Yourube reviewer said. This is as to be expected, in both senses: the device is popularly priced and reviewers have motivations to exaggerate. 2.5/5

Ass feels good to wandering hands, although as noted before, specifically too wide. Not so much too high. Could be more pert, smaller, and better sculpted. Maybe possible only with silicone.  But at least one can squeeze cheeks together. Frottage possibilities.  I could do without the many seams. Creates tactile and visual impression that 'she' has been sitting on wires. 3/5

Legs start out thick at thighs and quickly become much narrower. Looks a bit odd. It's not that the legs ends are too small, it is just the contrast of Miss Stumpy. Maybe it's that it's been too long since I was with a real woman.  I would also lengthen legs another 20% or so. But that would affect portability. No major issues with legs, but not sexy.  3.5/5

Waist, smaller would create a more heart-shaped effect, but not a chubby. 3/5

Vagina - Will verify 'in the saddle' but looks a little low. ?/5

Mound of Venus - wasn't expecting this. Impressive 4.5/5

Navel - ditto 3/5 if I was counting on this, 4/5 as I wasn't

Top - oddly, holding/caressing top, where this fantasy partner had been chainsawed, is remarkably pleasurable. The mounds (accident) are reminiscent of cupping the breasts of a teenage Thai girl. Absolutely unconnected with real distances and shapes but somehow my grasping hands and desperate  heart have their own agendas. Very impressive. 5/5

POSITIONS

All tested on carpet, not bed

1. male sitting in floor legs open, hip cradled from behind,  hip legs inside  - good, you can't finger from behind most sex toys nor hold inner thighs 4/5

2. male sitting on hauches, hip sitting between legs also as above, male holds hips - good 3.5/5

3. male also on haunches, hip on its back, legs also between male legs - OK, but when hold at waist it crushed, not enough resistance (add a core material?) 3/5

4. hip sitting on floor ass up, male takes from behind - need to add pillow to support waist of hip. Good 3.5/5 only supported by two bed pillows. Much better to hold top of device, a rather strange (unrealistic but erotically inspiring) position. Otherwise crushes waist with hand grip. Of course a Fleshlight is not close to realistic either as we don't fuck aircraft control signaling devices. Well, maybe *you* do!

5. 3/4 side from behind. 4.5/5 if same pillows used.

So, takes experimentation, like real sex. Best position aesthetically is being a cunning linguist with no weight on hip, i.e. snack held up to face front or back. First time I have been able to wrap a sex toy around my face.

INSERTS

Fleshlight Flight fits well. 3-4 inches to spare in length. I tighten drawstrings for maximum stability. This distorts vaginal cavity, unfortunately at point of most visibility, the top. Perhaps the R&D team can work on this - oval vs. round? Vacuum system?

With Flight inserted, which as you may know has a large mound, called 'pure' orifice (which I suppose can be taken two ways) there is a very large elevation, like going from sea level to the foothills of the Himalayas. Not sure I want such sexual terrain.  I might try inserting FL further.  Curious to see if better with or without case.

To be continued. Coming in part II...

Plush Hip review, part 2
« Reply #1 on: August 17, 2015, 12:46:25 AM »
Realize that this is a review in combination w/ one sleeve - an old Fleshlight Flight Pilot (that I am no longer satisfied with, so have ordered a replacement) w/ Plush Hip. Combinations could take a lot of tweaking. And I wasn't horny. I wanted to read a book but in the name of science and as an excuse to indulge my obsession (writing) did this research.

SENSATION:
Perhaps due to stimulation of hip set on male inner thighs, just leaving hip on kept me hard - much more so than FL alone, which you have to hold. I preferred the sensation of just being passive inside than fucking. Female astride was the only position that was realistic and felt very good). Less control w/ Plush hip than just with Fleshlight Flight Pilot, but Toy Demon Plush Hip felt more natural. Rocking hip by 'waist' emotionally more satisfying but less control/sensation. The waist dimensions are realistic for who would ride me. However holding the buttocks of the hip was a turn-off. Just too large. My fantasies do not include 35-year-old Australians, or in this case more like the continent of Australia.

SUCTION
Marginal, but probably due to an aging FL Pilot. Watch for an update when I install a new pilot.

NOISE
A rattle with every pump once I added more lube. Curiously felt more natural w/ less lube. Women aren't always totally wet to start and rocking the Plush Hip on top of me felt very much like a lover from the past riding my pistom but needing a top up of 10-30.

HEAT
I find the Plush Hip too hot. For comtext, I spend 4+ months a year in a tropical climate and I do not use air conditioning. I am a fussy bugger and wear linen mostly. I have very little tolerance for synthetic fabrics or unpleasant textures unless they turn me on (e.g. tiny women in genuine latex rubber mini skirts). . Neither the texture nor heat-retaining material features of Plush Hip appeal to me. And  can't take it in the shower!  What was I thinking?  Right now I am in a dry (no sweat) hot climate of 100 Fahrenheit yet the fabric still is absolutely nothing like 'flesh for fantasy' to quote David Bowie.

POSITIONS

1. Missionary from behind, my legs wrapped around 'hers': Surprised me, my favourite real world position was a total failure. All shape and resistance disappeared. And thighs don't have any legs, or at least not skinny enough, to pin. I might as well have been banging any standard pillow with something to keep the FL in place. Not uncomfortable really, just blah.. 2/5

2. Female straddling: Good mostly because can rock butt/pussy in dick by moving hip by top. Artificial but better sensation where it counts. 3.5/5

3. Doggy didn't work for me. Ass too big.  Turn off and poor sensation. 2.5/5

4. Modified doggy, hips balanced on its stubs did. Then could rock, achieving some resistance 3/5

TIGHTNESS
OK

PUBLIC BONE STIMULATION
Not as good as FL pussy orifice. No fault of Plush Hip.

CLEANABILITY
Wasn't sure how to deal with how the FLs leak lube and other liquids so I just set the Pilot on closed end (maximum suction, even though less than 100% closed feels better) and wrapped it in a plastic bag cutting off the excess at the onahole. Afterwards the bag was still unripped and it was actually less messy than using FL  w/ no add on.

Disappointments:  Unerotic design (visual), poor sensation (tactile)

Would recommend to who:
People who don't have much experience with sex toys and for men under 35, for whom their fantasies are still basic vanilla. My tastes begin with Baskin Robin's Triple Cherry. No fudge.

Worth what price to me?
Marginally, and I got it for over 40% off. Maybe with a better condition and model of sleeve it'll be OK.

Compare to similar products:
Other than high end silicon/PVC sex dolls, I have no experience other than standard high school experimentations with pillows and socks. This is a more sophisticated version of that level. Plush hip has no similarity to silicon sex dolls. With those (and perhaps silicon hips?) the device itself is a fantasy and no porn is necessary. After some onahole variety I will move on to cyber flesh type hips. The concept behind Toy Demon's Plush Hip is good but I'd prefer it he made out of same marerial as Meiki Cherry etc.

Compared to alternatives: Fleshlight used alone is better for me, because there is more control of the sensation used manually. You don't *expect* any facsimile of the female form. Imagination or visual stimulation in concert with direct stimulation work well.

Conclusion: Proceed with caution. Stay tuned for review with new Fleshlight Pilot, FL Go Surge and any new non-FL onaholes I buy as alternatives.

No position worked last night. It isn't just that it isn't a fantastic fuckable, rather that all positions except rocking on top are downright annoying. If I have to move on to using 'five little sisters' then it was an imprudent purchase.

By session three I have determined that either...

1. Toy Demon Plush Hip is not a successful product (indifferent to the sense of touch and sight,  not exciting, can't get off).
2. Everything depends on the sleeve/onahole.

The second is likely the case.

If replacing with a guaranteed good time sleeve doesn't save it this goes to Good Will mega thrift store...
"Louise, Louise! Can we even sell this thing?"
'Sure, put it under home entertainment.'
"Nah, I read Toy Demon - I'll label it discounted, under furniture
and pillows"

FL Go Torque and Pilot w/ Plush Hip review
« Reply #4 on: August 20, 2015, 04:17:25 AM »
Fleshlight Torque is an improvement over FL Flight Pilot replaced with a new one, but not by much. There is a uterus-like curiosity at the end and using Fleshlube instead of my health food store ingredients snot seems to help. But in many positions the Toy Demon Plush hip is just *uncomfortable*  and unerotic. Only holding the waist, and even the end of the stubby legs, or alternatively the top of the device provides any manual tactile indulgence. I find myself trying too hard. It is not ideal for a sensational quickie nor an edging session of multiple hours.

Plainly speaking the veloury soft excuse for the female form is awkward and boring.

My first impression stands - too easy to crush, too warm temperature, and zero aproximation of skin. It is neither the responsive tool of a Fleshlight meant to be used manually nor the Kokos silicony wobbly  hips that 'cry out' to be fondled and taken. The Plush Hip is neither fish nor fowl. It's a whale, a 'turkey'.

Yes, I have the torque ice, as far as I know it is the only version other than Go surge. I expect ILF  (USA) will expand their modest-size models.

Yes, Fleshlight Go torque ice is substantially smaller than the regular FL. The Go model is however larger than the Flight, by over an inch.

Several additional details of the FL Go Torque - the entrance (as ILF calls orifices), is 'sexied' up compared to the Flight series, as if someone in Design department thought a sportscar look would sell better than the elegant Apple Inc understatement of Flight sleeve (ILF-speak for onahole) and case. The onahole is clear instead of slightly opaque, and *very*sticky to the touch. It attracts dust and lint like crazy. It shows up even more than the Flights. However it does leak liquids less than Flight (comparing both closed at small end.

One of the strange but practical things about Plush Hip is that one can unzip the top end and adjust the end cap of a FL. Makes me feel like a surgeon.  But it is a plus of the Plush.

In several days I will post a review of the Plush Hip by Toy Demon with a non-FL onahole, specifically a Meiki 'Real purchased from Toy Demon'. I doubt one can 'make a silk purse out if a sow's ear' so even if it improves the experience, any combination will be based on the weakest link in the chain - in this case the moderate price but not good value Plush Hip.

More importantly, why spend more money and space on such a marginal device when Meiki Cherry 2 (and perhaps others similar) are *so* much better. The contrast is night and day.

Conclusion after trying Meiki Real onahole in Plush Hip...

It just doesn't work for me.

Mekki Real alone - fine (with some work)
Fkeshlight Go torque - OK

Either in Plush Hip  - disaster

I note that while I raise both Meiki Real onahole and Hera Hip Mini each one star (from 1/5 to 2/5 (i.e. from hopeless to poor) Meiki Plush Hip I do not warm to with time and experience. The hip is my worst of four purchases: uncomfortable and anti-erotic. Plus it is an 'albatross', like buying a Boeing 777. No an Airbus. I don't own an airplane hanger for storage. In fact I more or less live out of a suitcase. I could somehow accommodate it if was fabulous, but it is nowhere close. So, it was a stupid purchase.

Yikes, looks like the plush hip really just isn't your cup of tea... I don't have that but I do use the full size plush doll alot even just as a hug pillow and still love it. But to each his own  :P definitely awesome to have you join our little community here and give us some input :D
