Vorze A10 Cyclone SA First Impressions review
« on: May 31, 2015, 04:50:55 PM »
Hey fellow Demons,

I have given my opinions on products on the forum before, but never a formal review.  Due to the unique nature of this product and it's newness I decided to write my first.  With this review I will try to cover the details not covered on the product page or videos.  Please refer to these for more info if you haven't already.  https://www.toydemon.com/vorze-a10-cyclone-sa

I just received the Vorze A10 Cyclone SA on Friday so I've had a few days to try it out, here are my first impressions.

The Hardware:

This is my first motorized toy so I didn't really know what to expect.  I do have a Cobra Libre, but that one is different, as it is all about vibration, so it doesn't count as motorized to me.

I was a little surprised at how large and heavy the unit is, but since you really don't have to move it around once in use, I don't think this matters much.  I really like how the unit is held together with strong magnets, it makes for very easy assembly/dis-assembly.

The Sleeves:

I ordered the W-Flap and Infinity, as I prefer less stimulation and thought these would fit the bill.  I did notice that the two sleeves are made of different materials, the W-Flap is pretty soft, about a "7 or 7.5" on TD's softness scale.  But the Infinity is much harder, I guess to compensate for the smooth tunnel.  I would guess about a "5 or 5.5" but I don't have any toys in that range so it's my best guess.  Now that I know Rends uses different materials for their sleeves, it would be great if TD could post a softness rating for each one as it would really help make good choices.

With that said, it would be awesome if rich could comment on the softness of his various sleeves(HINT,HINT).  I am planning on ordering more sleeves and it would be very helpful.

The Experience:

Now for the experience...  It was really, different.  Very interesting but not like anything else I've tried before.  On certain presets it really felt like a blowjob, at least until it switched directions.  My first session was with the "W" and I only lasted 2 minutes, although I did get a little carried away with the speed controls ;).  I immediately tried the Infinity next and it was really good.  It was very mellow and worked well on the higher speeds.  I lasted much longer this time, probably due to the less stimulating sleeve and being my 2nd go at it.

I used the "W" again today to get a better feel for it.  It was pretty good and I was able to last longer and figure out which presets and speeds work well with it.

Over all I would rate the experience really high.  It's very different than using meikis but in a good way.  I was never tempted to get a motorized toy before as the piston types isn't giving you a new experience, it's just doing all the work for you.  But there really isn't another way to experience the rotational stimulation you get with this toy.  It was expensive, and will continue to be as I buy more sleeves, but so far I don't regret buying it at all.

Other things of note:

The motor is extremely quiet, as in no noise at all.  It's also pretty easy to clean.  So far the sleeves are holding up well, although I've only had it for a few days yet.  I'll try to update this as I use it more and get more sleeves.

I haven't experimented with the software interface yet but I plan to give it a try soon.  I'll let you guys know how that goes.  Thanks for reading!

Great review, Sonic.  I'm interested in this toy, but have been burned by the first and only rotational toy I ever tried which was the Rev 1000.  It just couldn't get the job done and the motor died a few weeks  after I got it.  Thought about the A10 Cyclone, but the reviews seem lukewarm on the performance.  So I decided against it.  Your review has me considering getting the Vorze.  Waiting for more reviews before deciding since it is pricey.  I too would be interested in a review on all the sleeves  that go with it.  Once again great review.  You should do more of them when you get a new product from TD as my and I'm sure alot of others decisions of what to purchase are influenced heavily by reviews.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

I'd like to make more reviews going forward, as reviews from others have helped me in the past.  What has held me back is most of the toys I have bought have already been heavily reviewed, and since my personal tastes lean heavily towards less stimulation/very soft I felt many people wouldn't have enough in common with me to apply to themselves.

@HG:  Thanks man, I really do think you'll like it.  If nothing else, it's really different from meikis and will be a nice change of pace for you.

@toyman33:  I totally agree with you, and I admit this was an impulse buy on my part.  I'll keep this thread updated and let you guys know of any durability issues that come up.  I'll also be ordering more sleeves so I'll do reviews on those also.

Hey guys!

Just a quick update for you...  I've been using the Vorze on and off since I received it, no durability issues to report so far.  I haven't purchased any other inserts yet so just enjoying the W and Infinity.

I tried the included lotion and I have to warn you guys to stay away from it.  It dries out fairly quickly and suddenly, which isn't the worst thing if using a meiki, just add water to reactivate.  But when using it in this type of toy, it could be really bad and even painful.

There I was enjoying a session with the W, when all of a sudden it starts to grab me rather than glide over me.  I had a slight panic moment fumbling for the off button, but no permanent damage done to me or the machine.  That said, it works well with the quality lubes that get a lot of mentions around here like Maria lotion, Onatsuyu and Meiki Bliss.  I have found that diluting with a little bit of water helps when using it with the Vorze, as a not so thick/more slippery lotion seems to work best.

On a related side note, the inserts do a good job of retaining the lube/lotion inside of itself while in use.  The entrance of the insert acts like a retaining membrane keeping everything inside.  But be careful when you are finished and pulling yourself out of the insert, especially when seated or lying on your back.  As soon as you pull out everything else will come out also  :(

Last but not least...  While I still really enjoy using this from time to time, it will never replace meiki's for me.  When using the right lotion and on the right preset and speed, it really feels like a wet, sloppy blow job.  And as a change of pace it works great!  But I find it harder and harder to resist trying to thrust.  And before any of you ask, thrusting really doesn't add much to the experience, at least not with the inserts I have.

So for those thinking this may be the end all of sex toys, I'm not so sure of that, at least it wasn't for me.  But if you use it to change up your experience from time to time and take a break from meiki's, it will serve you well.  Whether or not this is worth $300+ to you?  That would be up to the individual.

Recommended for:  A change of pace from meiki's.
A pretty good blow job simulator.
                             A completely hands free experience.
Those that can spend $300+ on the above things.

I run a community website dedicated to providing Vorze scripts.  The website is RealTouchScripts.com.  Check it out!

I think where the Vorze A10 really shine is the ability to use different sleeves.  My favorite one right now is the spiral.  The sensation is very realistic and pleasurable :).

Thank you for taking the time to write the review!

I have the older A10 Cyclone model and I very much like it.  Unfortunately, I often have problems with even the more generous M/L attachments (Medusa, Rolling Fella) while the tighter attachments (Snake, crystal) are a complete non-starter.  The larger two even tend to bind when I'm fully in (but not pressing on the back of the socket so as to avoid stopping the motor).

I feel like part of the problem with the older A10 was the lack of torque from the motor.  Do we know anything about Vorze in this regard?

Thank you again for writing the review.

@overwhelminginspiration  I've had the Vorze for a few months now and have had no problem with motor drag or lack of torque.  It runs smoothly and feels great.

I somehow missed your question OverwhelmingInspiration, but thank you toyman33 for picking up the slack!  ;D

I completely agree with toyman33, it runs very smooth and quiet with plenty of power.  It may be too powerful, as you need to be mindful of your lube so you don't end up with friction burns! :o

Has anyone in the 5.5-6" circumference range tried this toy out?  if so, how did it work for you?

Late reply, but I thought I'd add my experiences.

I'm over 6" in girth, which turns out to be a problem with this toy.  The insert (plastic shell that holds the sleeve) is too small, and splits open on full insertion.  With my first two attempts, with two different sleeves, this resulted in the sides of the sleeves extruding out and getting mangled by the rotation.

So out of the box, it's really unusable for someone of my size.

I did manage to make it somewhat usable with the application of large wide rubber bands (outside for an intact sleeve, and both inside and outside for a mangled sleeve).

It still splits apart at the front, but the bands keep it together, and prevent the sleeve from getting mangled (or mangled further).

Because it's so extremely tight, however, stimulation remains problematic.  If I'm fully inside, the motor at 100% simply can't turn, due to a combination of girth and curvature.  With roughly half to two-thirds insertion, it still requires a minimum of about 70% motor power to turn.  Furthermore, because it's so tight, the motor has to spin for more than half a second in any one direction for the sleeve to actually move (the sides get pulled, but friction means the sleeve itself takes a bit to catch up).  This makes video scripts (found at the forum for the defunct Real Touch device) often useless as is, as they tend to change direction too quickly, in an attempt to mirror action in the video.  The demo script that comes with the device is a bit better in this respect, in that it uses longer spin times at the appropriate moments.  I wrote a small program to modify them in terms of minimum power and spin length, which helps, but I'm sure I don't get nearly as much out of it as more average guys can.

I'd say 5.5" or so in girth is right near the limit of normal usability.  5" or below is probably what the designers had in mind.  Average girth is about 4.5" worldwide, and somewhat smaller in Japan and neighboring areas (no, it's not just a stereotype).

I think this toy is phenomenal! I Have had it for one year and it has stood up to being used 4-5x/wk. I have rotated the 6 inserts that I ordered, and the ones I use the most are finally wearing out. I threw out my entire collection of fleshlights and meikis because this thing is so good.
I even had a venus 2000 that I didn't like-too much setup and too little stimulation.
For me, this thing really works.
I was never able to get the function where it syncchs with videos working, but the built-in patterns and speeds are so good I don't really care.

This toy is pretty amazing - so far I'd say worth every penny.  Super powerful, more than enough battery life, basically silent, and with the addition of the scripting tons of variation.  (I also have a Zini Dib Bang Bang which is like a laughable little toy next to this beast.)

For folks needing a little more room, try the Medusa insert.  The Spiral's my personal favorite so far... dear god, scrape yourself off the ceiling good if you edge with this thing and then go full-speed...

Ahem.  Anyway: a question - the silicon ring on the top cover/ring has come unglued from the ring, and so far nothing I've tried has worked to glue it back down!  (Superglue, hot-melt glue, even an industrial two-part epoxy.)  Anyone have this problem and have a solution that actually sticks to that ring?  I wouldn't worry so much, except that I think its protecting both me and the inserts from abrasion, and I'd rather avoid both...

I too recently had this problem and was going to try superglue as well. Guess I'll skip that. The only thing I have been doing is using the toy without the cap on. Little more dangerous as the spinny bits are exposed, but as long as your not balls deep in it, you shouldn't have to worry about your short hairs getting caught in the spinning. Obviously this is a temporary fix, and I am open to other suggestions for a more permanent fix!

Maybe a dumb question, but would something like rubber cement work? I don't know how that really compares to super glue.
