Welcome to TD. You have chosen well. How to use - well it all depends on the product. For this one I would say start by using it held in your hand. Dual layer toys are not all that fragile, but do require a bit more care than a single layer. Excessive, and it takes a lot here, stretching or crushing may make the layers separate. Held between cushions does allow you to be hands free and thrust away a bit more naturally, but that method with an onahole should be done after you have some time getting to know your toy and how it best behaves under pressure. Using your hand also allows you to very the pressure and experiment squeezing thrusting in, or pulling back. Again, for starters I would say hand use.All TD products are "new". As for washing it first before use it is not necessary but safety and piece of mind go along way to letting yourself enjoy the experience and not be trying to use the toy while your mind is "wondering". I would say if you are asking the question, you may have some concerns so...use the 'washing' before (first) use (or any subsequent times) to warm the toy up. Flush with warm water, or let it soak in a warm water filled container. The experience with a warm moist toy is SO much better than a cold dry one...lol...you will find that true with a real person as well. There is a thread in the forum as well about using a onahole and if it will take away from or improve the experience with a real person. The simple answer is...they are both different in a good way. Onaholes do not require emotion, or emotional attachment...and they do not provide it either. With time, you will appreciate both for what they are and provide.Take your time, experiment, guilt should be reserved for eating to much chocolate, not for using an onahole. Read the cleaning sections, a clean toy is a happy toy...and user. Invest a few $$ in an anti-bacterial spray (sold here at TD as well as other places...NO BLEACH is ever to be used). After cleaning, a spray or two inside and out, use hands to rub it around the outside and pat dry, finger inside to spread it around and hit all the little nooks and crannies...if your going to warm with water before next use just store with the hold down and any excess will drain away, otherwise you can rinse again but just a little as you want to leave the anti-bacterial a bit inside and it is water where bacteria grow...keeping the inside rinsed, and dry is your best approach, but as you will not get a dual layer flipped inside out for perfect dryness anti-bacterial spray is a great investment and will not degrade the toy.
