First buy Tenga Flip Hole?
« on: July 25, 2014, 04:46:34 AM »
Hello, so I night be buying a toy eventually as my first buy. I've heard of the Tenga Flip Holes and the Meiki's, apparently it's more stimulation vs realism. Since I've never tried one I can't be sure what I'd like, but I think I'd prefer the unique, more stimulating textures of the Tenga Flip Holes, plus the bonus of easier clean-up would be nice.

I've looked on here and, well, I'm not sure which one I'd pick. Silver might be off my list, so it's down to Red (suction), Black (stimulation), or White (balanced). I'm not sure whether I'd prefer suction over stimulation, hard over soft, etc. At this point it might seem useless to be asking as I have no clue what I like unless I try them all... What are your opinions if you've tried them? Any other ideas for possibly better toys or rivaling alternatives (3D, or another brand)? Perhaps a different brand or model entirely for a first buy? What does the Meiki have against Tenga besides a more realistic texture?

I probably prefer re-usable, cleanable ones over 1 or 2 use. I know one complaint of the Tenga's is sound, but a squishy sound might actually be a fetish of mine, and I can turn on a fan for the noise while I use it perhaps (or maybe I'm underestimating it).

I'll probably only buy one for a while rather than multiple at once and see how I like it. Thanks for reading.

Plenty of discussion in the forum about stimulation vs realism. If you want the stimulation, go with TENGA since the material is a slightly firmer and its got many nubs and ribs to enhance stimulation. as for which one to get.. if this will be your first toy..and your standard to compare to future product, probably go with flip hole white since it's the very original TENGA flip hole... I remember toydemon used to have the flip hole hard gel which was the white version with a even firmer material but i think those have been discontinued.

I've owned all 4 flip holes and currently own the white, red and silver. My ranking:

Red- I like this one the best because it isn't overstimulating or too tight. I can see many not liking this though if they want max stimulation/tightness. This one is the most "realistic" feeling of the 4 given its lower stimulation and interior design. I don't think it has the most suction either.

White- A solid interior that is more stimulating than the red which I can see many preferring. It's a solid blend and probably is the best one for a first time flip hole owner. This was the first one I bought and before it I used fleshlights and after using this the first time I wondered why the hell people buy fleshlights instead of flip holes.

Black- It's nice but a bit too tight/stimulating for my sensitive member. If someone isn't all that sensitive, likes a lot of tightness and takes a while to unload then this would be the best of the 4. I threw this out last year since I didn't use it much after I got the red a couple years ago.

Silver- Very mediocre. I got this one within the last year while it was on sale at a different site and decided to take a chance even though I wasn't ever interested in it as I figured it wouldn't be that good. Well my belief was confirmed as it isn't good and was downright uncomfortable until I modded the sleeve and now it is better but still not close to the red or white. I had to cut off some of the sharp peaks and make space after the opening because the interior there was the opposite of pleasure. This sleeve is also a lube hog compared to the other 3.

So I can recommend the red, white and black but I'd say stay far away from the silver. I find flip holes are great toys given their ease of clean up, their amazing durability and their pleasant feeling, silver (and flip hole airs...they are horrible) aside. While I'd say Meiki style sleeves (I have a few of those) have the slight edge in feeling, flip holes are the overall better deal/product given the the durability.

Tenga says flip holes last 50 uses but that is just some number they picked out of a hat and it really makes no sense because what is defined as a single use? How many minutes of how many thrusts at what thrust speed? All I can say is I have used both my white and red sleeves for many hours each (talking double digits here) of varying thrusting speed and there isn't anything wrong with either making me think they could practically last a lifetime.
