HEPS Fantastic?
« on: June 05, 2014, 11:30:10 PM »
How's my great people of TD doing? Been a very busy man these days, so many sex toys to catch up to, so is the HEPS Fantastic a newer version of the Kinsey? Been so long since i remembered, need something with a very hard strong suction, wife just had dental work done so i want to let her heal up for the next six weeks. would love to give it ago, been buying alot of suction toys never had any luck with one that sucks super hard and strong, since my journey of fuckin, my past life has always been with women who offer super hard strong BJ's i guess i am a spoiled guy and gotten used of a woman sucking the cum out of me when i am getting ready to cum! Willing to give it a shot, i do apologize to everyone just very busy with life but i love it!

I am a big fan of the HEPS Fantastic.  I picked one up a while ago and really enjoyed the inner textures.  The way the hard case lets you adjust the pressure is very nuanced and lets you tailor the experience as you go...I was surprised by how cool that was.  My only problem was that it developed a few small tears near the corners of the mouth.  That didn't impact the use till they eventually grew.  I didn't want to invest in a full replacement but I was sad too because I really liked the unit.

They released some replacement inserts and since they were only around $20 I ordered one.   I am VERY impressed with the replacement.  I wonder if this is a better produced batch or something, but the area that tore in my original insert seems thicker and more durable.   I am not sure, but it is a moot point anyway because I have been using it for a few weeks with no tears at all.

There is one bit of advice/note I would give.   The insert came with a little card in the package that was mostly in japanese but had two phrases in english.  "Do not use hot water" and "Do not use insert warmers"   This could be the key to why the new insert is so much more durable.  I washed my original unit in near scalding hot water...and I washed it before my first use too.   If the material does not react well to very hot water, I might have weakened it with the washing and that could have caused the original tears.   With the new insert I wash it with luke warm water and have not had any problems at all yet.

Good luck and I hope you enjoy yours, I definitely recommend it.

I'm pretty much sold on this thing at this point.  The only thing holding me back is having to pay an extra $20 for an insert that won't tear for a toy that already costs $75.  Not really fair.

I was a little unclear in my reply.  My original insert developed tears almost right away, but the blame for that might be on me and not the HEPS fantastic.   I washed my original insert in scalding hot water before the first use.   I suspect that the very hot water I rinsed it out with weakened the material.   I was very careful to heed the "no hot water" warning that came with the replacement insert and have had no tearing at all.

I very strongly suspect that if you get the HEPS Fantastic you would not need the replacement insert.  I think the key is to only wash it with warm water and not really hot water.  I was trying to get across that I think the problem was the scalding hot water, but I can't test it so I don't know for sure.  I think I would  feel confident buying the HEPS without an extra insert.

I do wish I had kept the original packaging though so I could see if it mentioned the "No Hot Water" thing and I just didn't notice.  I enjoy mine very much so if you pick one up I think you will be happy with it.  You might want to try using it spun around too as the texture on the roof of the mouth is different than the texture of the tongue.

You were clear enough about that in your earlier post.  I wasn't just making reference to your experience, but also to the countless others who have experienced tearing within the first few uses (as per the reviews on the main ToyDemon site).  It seems like some people have the problem with the tearing and others don't.  Luck of the draw I suppose.  I just don't want to get one that tears right away and then have to wait a week for a replacement insert to be shipped to me so I can use it a second time.  Here's something I'm curious about:  How much does the plastic housing add to the experience in your opinion?  Would you consider using just the insert without the housing?  I don't care much about suction, or deepthroating for that matter.  The tongue is the main selling point for me, personally.

The shell is very integrated into the experience for me so it is hard to say.  The panels allow you to squeeze on the insert and apply precise amounts of pressure to enhance the sensations at the right times.  It all happens naturally like when masturbating with your hand.  The big dial things on the side that look like tires control the amount of air let in/out at the top which controls the amount of suction generated, similar to the nob at the end of a fleshlight.   The insert itself has two big holes at either side of the end that smoosh into the housing.  Without the housing they would just always be open and there would be no suction at all.   If I had to guess I would say using it without the housing would be a loose and potentially messy situation, especially if the lube leaked out.  The plastic shell lets the insert get a bit lubed up and messy while still giving you something to hold onto.   I would not choose to use it without the shell.  I considered trying it with my torn insert when it ripped, but opted instead to get a Meiki XYZ.  If it helps at all now that I have a functioning HEPS I choose that over a Meiki.

I do not care much about the suction either and leave mine on the most open setting.  The tongue is really realistic feeling, every time I clean it out I feel like I am trying to make someone gag on my fingers.  The teeth add some good sensation (first time I ever thought that about teeth!) but what surprised me the most was the roof of the mouth texture.  That has more of pronounced texture than the pretty smooth tongue so I feel that much more when using it.  I don't feel the tongue as much in use, but it does help apply squeezing pressure so I am glad it is there.  I am more sensitive on the underside so I often position the HEPS so the tongue is on the top and the roof of the mouth is on the underside.

I wish I could find out if the other people who had luck of the draw issues also washed the unit in hot water.  It seems like a natural thing to do with a new toy so that could explain the rash of people having issues.  If you do end up getting one I would love to find out if the packaging has any warnings in it about the hot water or not.   I hate that it is such a risky purchase because if that were not a concern it would be so easy to give this a huge recommendation.

I used to have the fantastic and loved it and it is probably still my favorite toy I have ever owned and I've owned a lot. The reason for this is because it had the mild stimulation which I prefer since i can extend my time before popping.

Sadly it started to rip (though not right away) and got to the point where I just couldn't fix it via soldering and I chucked the whole thing out although I got many many hours out it so it wasn't a waste of money. Sure enough it was maybe a month after I threw it out they started offering the replacement sleeves. If only I had known that would happen I wouldn't have thrown the case out and could have tried it out again for 20 bucks.

Interesting about the no hot water use.

This new oral toy from Magic Eyes looks incredible and could very well top the Fantastic as best ever for me. I'll see.
