I'm going to buy a ZXY in September, but I just want to be aware if there is something that might come out September/October.

It's gonna be long-term so I will really need to know.

Nothing revolutionary will release by then. The ZXY is great, but since you speak long-term it does have some durability problems. If you are worried about that, maybe wait for the Meiki 009 Rola which should be the best single layer Meiki yet and should be out sometime soon. Either way the dual layer Meikis are still a good choice.

I suppose the hands down winner in the meiki series are Ozawa (single-layer) and ZXY (dual-layer).. Only TD would know what's coming out in sept  but like Flammz said.. meiki 009 rola is going to come soon hopefully.. and that's the latest release by npg.. with that said there's probably not another one that's going to be released by the end of yr..
