I started checking out Meikis in February. A couple years ago I had a Tenga Flip Hole but I haven't had any sex toys since. I started eyeing the Meiki Cherry 2 and debated back and forth whether to “splurge” for the Pure Hip (an extra $120). At the time that seemed like a lot of money. Little did I know that only a few months later I'd have spent nearly a grand on toys. It's very addicting but I don't regret it, and you'll see why. This is a review of the Pure Hip, the Meiki Plush doll with Ozawa, and the Half Hera Hip, with pics!


Pure Hip

Exterior and appearance (9/10):
Of everything I've purchased, hands-down, the hips are the most arousing to look at and play with. The Plush doll is not even close. It's especially exciting if you have a thing for ass. The Pure Hip is a realistic-looking, moderately heavy (around 8 lbs) piece of ass. It never gets old spanking it or playing with it. It is, however, not to scale. Size XS panties are a little bit too large for it, but they get the job done. The firmness of the ass is somewhere between the Extreme Hip and Half Hera. It's not as firm as the Half Hera. It's just about right, I think.

Interior and sensation (9/10):
Both holes feel great, and it's easy to get into various positions using it. I would say the most realistic position is reverse cowgirl. It feels amazing having the butt cheeks bounce against you while you can see and play with them. And the sensation, due to the weight and the feeling of being surrounded by it, make it feel very close to the real thing. But any position is good with this, and it's easy to move and carry around.

Cleanup and maintenance (8.5/10):
Cleanup was a little tricky until I got the hang of it. You have to keep a towel or paper towels underneath it since it has through-holes. But it's worth it, because it's so much easier to clean once you're done. I rarely finish in the Hera's anus because it's closed hole and hard to wash underneath the sink. The Pure Hip is much easier. There is still a learning curve for people who haven't had a hip before. You need to powder it, and I recommend using a paint brush to do so, it's easier and faster than using your hands.
I typically rinse the holes and let it air dry. Sometimes I use soap. I usually don't take the time to dry the inside with a cloth. It's too much effort, and I think I use these toys too frequently for any mold to grow.

Meiki Plush Doll Ozawa Bundle

Exterior and appearance (8/10):
I wasn't very excited about this doll but purchased it due to the reviews. Admittedly, it is sexier in person than in the pictures. It has the figure of a very fit and sexy girl (34-24-34 or close to it). If you get it, you definitely want to pick up some clothes with it.
The exterior fabric feels great on your skin. As others have said it is great for cuddling. I'll admit that most nights I do actually sleep next to it.

Interior and sensation (9/10):
This is a very different experience than using a hip. Hips are really fun to look at, but they take a lot of effort to use. That's never the case with the Plush doll. It's so easy to use. It can lightly bounce on top of you, you can easily pick it up and use it in any position. It's very versatile. I think this is the best simulator of missionary position. Laying in bed using it is great. The sensation rating is influenced by your choice of onahole – I went with the Maria and like it a lot. It's not as tight or stimulating as the hips, but it is super soft and just feels great. There's also a good amount of suction since it's closed off.

Cleanup and maintenance (9.5/10):
Cleanup is a snap compared to my other toys. Just take out the onahole, bring it to the bathroom sink and clean out with soap and water. I let it air dry. I haven't ever had to clean the doll itself, I'm very careful to not spill anything on it.

Half Hera Hip

Exterior and appearance (9.9/10):
This is the just about the hottest ass I've laid eyes on, real or otherwise. There is something about the prone-bone position that just does it for me. It's also significantly bigger than the Pure Hip. Maybe not fully to scale, but very close.  It's the same material as the Pure Hip but it's quite a bit firmer. You have to hit it harder to make it move around as much. I wish it was a little softer but that's my only critique. It's near perfection.

Interior and sensation (10/10):
I'm pretty sure the interiors are the same or very similar to the Pure Hip's, but this is much tighter. Both holes feel amazing – no complaints. The anus is closed hole so there is more suction. I do have the auto version, but I rarely use it. It really doesn't add much. There isn't enough vibration to make the ass shake, it just slightly moves (twitches). It feels just about the same. Maybe a little better. But it's a pain to insert the motors, have to remember to silence the moaning girl, and then take the stuff out before bringing it over to the sink.

Cleanup and maintenance(7/10):
This is an amazing toy and overall my favorite. The only downside is the cleanup. It's heavy (13 lbs) and just barely fits my kitchen sink. It's awkward cleaning out the holes, especially the anus. However, it is undoubtedly worth it because it is really arousing to use.

Overall: 9.5/10

Final Thoughts
Obviously you won't go wrong with any of these three. If space and privacy is your concern, I'd get the Pure Hip. It's the best balance between size, function, and cleanup. If you're more into having “companionship,” then go with the doll. It will sometimes trick you into thinking you are with someone. And if you just want pure stimulation both visually and physically at any cost, get the Half Hera Hip.

I've attached some pictures to the review. The Pure Hip holes are wider than they are brand-new because I used a soldering iron to fix up some tears. Hope you've enjoyed this review, happy to answer any questions.

I've been thinking about getting the Meiki Plush Doll myself. The Ozawa Bundle doesn't mention being the upgraded butt version of the doll. Could you confirm which plush doll you've got?

If you do have the curvier doll, I'd love to see some more pictures of it.

Glad you liked the review. I'm not sure which version I have, but if I were to guess I think it's the newer one since I got it in May. Here are a couple pics of the butt - you be the judge. I'm happy with it but I don't really focus on the butt on this toy - that's why I have the other two I think a perfect toy (TD, hope you're listening) would be the plush doll, but with silicone ass and tits.

There is only one picture of the new version on the site so its hard to make a comparison. The first doll is definitely just a flat butt, you'd likely easily see the different yourself(I think). I think the curve into the butt crack is really important for holding onto in some ways no matter how its being used. Visually the better designed it is the more of a doll it becomes and less an odd shaped pillow. For example; the trick putting panties on it plays on the mind, suddenly its more approachable.

I'll always appreciate more pics of whatever you'd like and I'm sure others would too.

Wow! You did a great job reviewing all these toys and it's nice to see some fresh pictures showing the scale of each one next to each other. Though I don't own a hip atm, your review has helped me better understand the differences between the half hera and pure hip along with the benefits of getting a Plush doll.

I've spent the last 3 days going back and forth between these three specs, details, ratings and whatnot. Thank you so much for your review! You're a great man for your "hard" work. (Hey, puns are the most sophisticated form of humor.)

I kept seeing complaints about the Hips being to small but there was nothing to compare it to. Now I know my decision is down between two, The Hip Half and the Plush. Since I don't live alone, I have to choose the difficult to hide Plush but easy discreet cleanup or the easier to hide Hip Half but awkward lugging it to the sink, not entirely fitting cleanup.

(That's a fun conversation starter, having a roommate come walk in with a dismembered, sliced woman's hip.)

So my internal purchasing debate continues but thanks to your review, it's near completion. Who knows, maybe I'll buy both.

With a plush you could keep that hidden in your room and bring the insert to the bathroom. If you have a sweatshirt on you could fit it in your pocket. I used to do that in college with a tenga flip hole. But, you can't fit a hip in your pocket

Nope, I hear it feels really nice. But I don't think it's very attractive.

From what I gather, the pleasure hip is lower weight than any of the others, a tad more compact as well. Though I find the rounding to be extremely estranged as well, I would assume it allows for far more positions than the other hips. So the possibilities may make up for the what we see as a deficiency.

Then again, the aesthetics can change drastically from seeing it up close and having it in your hands in comparison to a simple low-med res picture on a website.
