I can't remember the last time I was so psyched for an impending release. (pun!) 

Any ideas of if/when we might see preorders and what sort of discount/bonuses or anything else it might entail?

The last few releases didn't really wow me but this one seems like just the step in the right direction for me.

Prebuy? Me? Scares me to say but yeah, I most likely will.

I've become a fan of single layer toys recently because of the durability issuesmany have had with the dual layer ones. However, I will say that I do enjoy my Sarah and ZXY, but it is disappointing that the interior layers appear to fail more quickly over time. As for the new 009, I'll probably try it out when it becomes available since I'm a sucker for the latest NPG toys. As for a Tomax toy, I've only tried the Busty Aichan, but I've been meaning to buy a Venus Clone in the super soft elastomer. I'm just wondering if it compares favorably to the NPG Meikis?

It does compare favorably. Clone is good. Do note that the 'Very Soft' is VERY soft, it pretty much comes with a warning "only for people that absolutely love soft materials", otherwise you'll end up disappointed (i.e. not intense enough).

TD should tell NPG to create a dual-layer meiki that uses the soft material on the inside, and the harder material on the outside. People say the softer material is more flesh-like and realistic, but the single layers are too loose and don't imitate muscle tightening. But with the harder material on the outer layer, that would solve that problem. Really sounds like the ideal way.

I think it also has to do with how the toy feels in your hand, people want something they can squeeze, a firm rubber exterior would probably be less attractive to use (although your reasoning does have a point, I wonder if it would work).

So if I'm reading that right, the delay has nothing to do with the product, manufacturer or distribution.  This is about Ms. Misaki's contract?  Interesting...
