I was a fan of the first, really wanted to get the 2nd one but was waiting for it to hit cheap prices and get the GOTY edition.

But I have been reading stuff about the developer for Borderlands, Gearbox. They also developed Alien: Colonial Marines, and I read that they actually took Sega's money and used it to develop Borderlands and gave A:CM to a third party developer and the game turned out to be shit. If any of that is true, about how they just took Sega's money to use it on their own games, I kinda don't wanna support them anymore.

I have Monster Hunter Ultimate coming out so I will definitely be busy with that for a longggggggg time.

I don't know about that controvery, but I can affirm that Borderlands 1 and 2 are amazing games and Borderlands 2 is even better!

I've been stuck on that game for the past 5 months!  I've got HALO 4, Black Ops 2 and Crisis 3 unopened because I can't put that game down! LOL

DD, I'd love to campaign with you, but I'm level 50.  Not sure how that works...

I'm also a big fan of this franchise, loved the first game.  And you're right, the 2nd game is WAY better!  I haven't heard those rumours(?) before about taking Segas money, I hope it's not true.

The game is just plain amazing.. thats why I have not played it for a few days. It's too engrossing!

Are you guys on PC or Console? I played the first one on PC, so I want 2nd one on PC as well. I always think shooters need to be played with Mouse and Keyboard. I suck with using analog stick.

for me..my attention span is too short...i'd never be able to play through a game like borderland 2.... maybe play it for a week and then i'm done with it... still play mostly FPS ..short and simple i guess...

I'm on the 360.  I guess I'm in the minority here.  I always wanted to try a FPS on PC but I always thought it would be a hard adjustment for me.

Yep I play on my 360. Awesome game. Currently a lol 15 mecromancer. The number of guns is amazing
