 Just wanted to rant 

 First these bastards damaged my box then  when I when I filed the claim these a-holes denied it give me some BS about improper packaging? I was like  then I was like  .  I said to the guy "Sir, this is a piece of steel I had shipped and you guys bent and twisted it. What kind of extreme shipping procedures do you guys practice to do that?" Then he starts telling me about 3inches of bubble wrap are required to be used by UPS. At that point I'm like  . Then I tell the guy "Sir, this item was wrapped in 2 layers of bubble wrap, 1 layer of foam, it was encased between 6 inches worth of air cushions and 6 inches of packing paper. Then he's pauses and tells me to hold on....Then he comes back to the phone and says "Ah, okay sir I've seen the package, I'm going to approve your claim it looks like the box was crushed."  <--- I win. But I didn't feel like I did. It took a week of dealing with these people calling them 100 times, waiting for calls back, just for one single package. It was pretty annoying and they tried to lie to me to deny my claim. I thought it was just me but it seems like they do this a lot. With USPS if a box I ship is damaged they just cut me  a check after they review it of course. I don't have to waste time speaking to 100 different people and arguing on the phone.  Screw UPS... Screw em!

Oh, and I forgot the part where they wanted me to take pictures of the box and package. I was like  "Sir, you people still have my box and have had it for over a week, I can't take pictures of something you haven't sent back to me." Then he was like "oh yeah, sorry about that haha no hard feelings egh?".

Man... at this point....from all the shipping service i've used... I'd rank them in the order of

FedEx
USPS
UPS

UPS / USPS are technically on the same plane... I've seen so many UPS drivers throw packages around w/o a care it's not even that hard to imagine what damage is being done to the items within the box, and that's just on the final delivery driver's action..what goes on in between each transit hub is probably even worse.

FedEx usually comes better and seems like their drivers are friendlier and take better care of my pacakges... (maybe just the driver on my route anyways)

USPS... I don't use them much anymore simply because there's just not enough confidence I have with them from the past number of lost packages.. I much rather paid a little bit more and make sure my package are delivered.

I think it also depends on where you are.  USPS is the best service in my area, followed by UPS, then Fedex.  The Fedex guys around here are complete asshats who throw everything while the USPS guys are friendly.

Did anyone see that video a while back about a UPS guy stealing an iPad off a customer's front door that was delivered by the FedEx guy?

I think in the end it's never the company, but rather the asshats that are just scum and should be ashamed of themselves.

These dirty rotten !#$!$!$!!! They send me my check and shorted me 12bucks.
They said they had to deduct for shipping my broken item back to me. What the Fudge!

Yeah, less the amount they actually owe me. I like USPS though they're slower but if something breaks they handle it faster. This has taken about 1month and 1/2 man sheesh
