The whole thing talking about House of Cards and k-drama got me thinking about Japanese drama. How many of you here have watched J-drama?

I started watching those back in the college days and haven't watched any at all in the past few years.

Most memorable j-dramas to me were My Boss My Hero and Nodame Cantabile.

My Boss My Hero: About a mafia boss' son going back to high school to proof that he's not a worthless dumbass. My Boss My Hero was one of the funniest j-drama I have watched. There's only like 10 episodes or so so it's pretty short, but man it's still one of my favorite dramas period.

Nodame Cantabile: About a girl who's very talented with piano, and her going thru music school. I don't remember exactly the whole story, but the drama had so much funny moments and charm that it became one of my favorite dramas as well. I also loved the orchestra music that's presented in this drama.

So, I hope I am not the only one out there that has seen these, and if you are in anyway interested in watching J-Drama........watch the 2 I mentioned, you won't be disappointed.

Thanks for the suggestion! I don't even know how to watch J-drama but I'll check out the ones you mentioned.

I've seen both of those you mentioned.. loved them.. both are comedy drama but well acted.. I love J-drama..they're direct to the point and doesnt drag on and on..like they're usually under 15 episodes per drama so I don't all day trying to find the next season or watching 100s of episodes like some of the k-dramas

I don't know about J-Drama but I've seen plenty of Anime

I was hoarding anime back in the college days!!!

Kenshin, Hunter x Hunter, DBZ, Yuyu Hakusho, Trigun, Ranma 1/2, Berserk, Bubblegum Crisis, Akira............list goes on and on!!!

I think I will make another topic on animes!!!
