I read rumors that they will charge for online like xbox live..........i sure hope not.

Also prices at 400/500 for 2 skus.

I mean in the end, regardless of what those are, just give me games to play!!!!! I just want awesome games to play! So I hope we get to learn more about what games will be available at launch.

PS3 games will not be backwards compatible with PS4. Instead, the games will be streamed over the internet through their recently acquired Gaikai service . . .

I was looking at the presentation thing on youtube yesterday... why does everyone trying to do a presentation like steve jobs.... and nowadays these tech presenters always dress without tucking their shirts in...call me old school but I just think as for being professional it's much better looking tucked in...I will agree some shirt looks good w/o tucking..but some just look like your woke up ..slap on a shirt and gone out to do the biggest presentation of your life.... sigh...  and yes...it was pretty disappointing..

Damn that hardware is gonna be pretty bad ass! But in the end, like I said earlier. Show me the games I wanna play then you'll get bought!

I never bought 360 because I am not much of a shooter fan, I like japanese games more.

I've been thinking about Sony's backwards compatibility plan, and it's starting to make sense. Their idea is that rather than the PS4 having to do all the processing for PS1, PS2, and PS3 games, that will instead be handled by the Playstation Cloud servers. The PS4 won't be cluttered up with all that hardware. But slow shitty internet is going to be a big hinderence to how well it works.

So, lots of rumors about Sony developing technology to prevent second hand sales of games. Games at $60 is the biggest way to earn money in the console market, much more so than the actual consoles themselves. The idea has been there for a long time, but I reckon there will be so much hate if it'll actually come to fruition.

First no backwards compatibility, and now this. I think I just lost all desire for a PS4.

Did anyone catch Killzone on Jimmy Fallon last night?

I mean I love nice looking graphics, but to me it's just another shooter with same old stale gameplay.......

I really wish with new hardware they can try to do something different.

I need a new saints row with 4 player co-op......then my gaming life shall be complete!

I have to take back what I said about Playstation. I just bought Xbox Live Gold for 12 months, and what do I see on the Xbox Dashboard? Motherfucking ads! I can understand if the ads were for Xbox Live Free users, but the fact they force them on Gold users too is beyond unacceptable!

Xbox Live has become a joke. Sony has their own subscription service now too called Playstation Plus, and they give you free games and huge discounts!

Microsoft can go fuck themselves.

I have had playstation plus, and I think it is one of the best things and that I don't mind paying money for it. Like you said, they will give you free games to play, discounts on games, and their regular online is free, so nothing to complain there.

I don't own an xbox, and don't think I will because I can't help but think I shouldn't be paying to play online multiplayer. Besides, most xbox games are shooters and I am more of a japanese game gamer.
