Silky-type lube?
« on: January 24, 2013, 06:54:33 PM »
Has anybody ever tried Silky Lube from Tomax? If so, is there anything out that's just like it? I'm about to run out and can't get my hands a new tube. I just tried the soft-type version of Deep Lotion, and its not as light and silky. I've also tried Toy Fluid from Fun Factory and its great, but it kind of smells and gets sticky after a while. Hows Astroglide?

I've tried astroglide..it's pretty good and long lasting as far as slippery-ness...but it does have a strong latex smell to it that I dislike.. have not try those Deep lotions yet.. will probably get that the next time I buy something from TD

I personally use the Tenga lotion line (now reduced to just the original one). It is almost scentless (barely noticeable at all) and it lasts a long time (I say for a 2-hour session, I only have to reapply once... twice if I was really rough).

Astroglide.. probably the worst I ever used that and ID Glide. Astroglide dries up way too fast and gets sticky. When it dries up it feels like a lollipop that's been melted to your dashboard. It also smells like Playdough. When I used it with Meiki it didn't feel as smooth as it does with Maria lube or something along those lines. It felt rougher and kept drying up and getting sticky. I had to keep Reapplying the lube. Also when you try to clean it up or wash it off your hands or whatever it's like an EXXON oil spill. Soon as a drop of water hits it WOA! Everything is slippery, it's even more slippery than the soap. It's a good idea to also use a bit of water and keep some on hand when you're using it to re-animate it. It works but it gets messy. I think that's my overall experience with Astroglide. It dries out way too fast and it gets sticky and messy. ID glide was about the same but smelled like a freshly mowed lawn. If cut grass turns you on you might like it.  ;D

I have used the Tomax Silky and honestly, I haven't experienced any other commercial lube that is similar to it. The closest commercial lube to the Silky is the Passion Water Lube (which has a sweet smell).
