Well all in all, i am not a total newbie here, while i am by no means STJ and the folks

Storage method:
1. Wrap each toy in piece of old shirt (before i got the bags)
2. Put them in a shoe box
3. Put shoe box next to my desk under a pile of old school paperwork

For the longest time, it worked great. The box is pretty simple, easy to access, and good sized.

But then one day at school, I locked my key in the car. I had to call my roommate to search for my spare key... I directed him to the drawer where my spare key is supposed to be at. He couldn't find it (silly me put the key in a book-type container) and I asked him to keep trying. In the end, I just called AAA to open my car for me. All is well right? I mean, the shoe box is ~8 feet away on the other side of the computer.

Wrong. Few months later, said roommate started to reference about the 'box' :
1. Parents visiting --- roommate said "make sure your parents wont find your box"
2. Roommate referencing something perv, I pointed that out, and his comeback was "at least I'm not a panty sniffer"
3. etc

So... yeah... he knows... sigh... hence I cant ever get anything larger than a Meiki. (I wish I can try the hip/the new plush)

Well for me the only people who know are the USPS people who keep opening my packages! Well i don't care, is worth it and there's a lot of worst thing that they can caught you doing. The moral of this story is to (do what i do) get a book bag, pretty decent sized and put a LOCK in it. If you live we a room mate or with parents it needs to be locked or put where they cant reach.

You have a good roommate if he only hints at it tough, i could think of a lot of funny things to do :p

I'd say get your roommate a Meiki for his birthday..call it even..and then you guys are on the same plain.... then you get yourself the hip....then he'd wish he has one

I use a lock box like this



and wrap my Meiki's in a small towels.
Then I just stash the box in my closet in the corner so no one can see it unless they tried.

I guess under my bed. I'm 19, so I don't have to worry about anyone perusing my room. My parents recognize that I'm an adult and let me have my privacy. Nonetheless, I don't just leave this stuff lying around, so I typically place the toy(s) either under my bed or high up on a shelf.

Sometimes hiding things in plain sight is best. You should hide them in your parents room. That way if they find them your mom will just blame your dad hahaha, and if he tries to blame it on you that will just make him look worse haha.
