I have used this both with water and air and think It's a great product. One thing I did not like was the velcro which was very very fiddly to use and would almost fuse together. I replaced it with an orange cableclamp and things worked so much easier, watertight and airtight and unclicks easily.
I'll be trying that meiki insert add-on in future ;)

It feels pretty good with air, I inflated it to where the ass measured 12 inches wide and was pretty tight. Dont leave inflated for days on end though, I did this and it lost the shape, now its too round looking :( Maybe inflating to only 10 inches wide would have been better!!

Hello all!

Having been a dedicated user of the Meiki masturbators and a regular of customer of Toydemon since about 2008, I thought I would finally take the plunge and begin contributing to the forums!

I finally broke down out of curiosity, and decided to try the Soloflesh.  A lot of users are testifying to the amazing sensations it provides, and I wanted to see if it lived it up to that.

After having had this in my possession for the first day, I must be honest and say that I cannot provide a proper review on how it feels because I am still caught up in glitches with the preparation.

The concept is excellent, but the basic engineering needs A LOT of improvement.  :(

First off, this CANNOT be filled with just any type of kitchen or bathroom sink.  If you happen to have the wrong kind of faucet spicket, it is nearly impossible to fill this toy properly.  It FIGHTS you as you are trying to fill it, it is an exercise in total frustration. As you are trying to get the velcro strap around the head of it, you lose gigantic quantities of water which goes everywhere.  Fair warning, the best place to do this is in the bath tub.  If you do it in the bathroom or the kitchen, you are likely to have a flood on your floor.  It's generally not a good feeling when you buy a product and you find out you have the wrong kind of appliances or plumbing to fill a sex toy!  I mean c'mon, this should be universal, you should be able to fill it in a bathtub, sink, or anywhere!

Another major problem is that in the book, they show a very important thing, which is to always support it from the bottom with your hand, so that you don't put excess stress on the material around the filler neck and shorten its life.  This is of course quite right, you don't want to hold it up by the neck when you've got the weight of all that water pulling down on it.  The trouble is, is that I found that the second you try to use your other hand to support it from the bottom, water comes shooting out the top.  The only way you can keep the water you manage to get into it inside, is to hold on for dear life by the neck only and hold it up like a dead chicken, with the full weight of the water pulling down on the neck, there's no other choice.  Like I said, one of the worst features of this toy is that it FIGHTS YOU as you are trying to get it ready for use.  That's not a good selling point for a masturbation toy.

The main problem with the filling of this toy is two-fold.  The slightest, and I mean slightest misstep or mishandling of it as you are holding it up to get the strap on, will cause the toy to violently expel most of the water out of it.  This toy should have a simple stop-valve so that as you fill it, you don't lose what you've already put in it.  The velcro strap is probably the worst possible choice for creating a tight water seal.  Yes, once you get the strap around it and tightened, it is pretty solid, but then there is the problem of not being able to fill it completely.

The other major problem with the velcro is that once it is in place, it is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to adjust or remove, it glues itself to itself, is far too clingy and it just welds on to itself, it's horrible.  You either can't remove it, or you can't get it on without losing most of your water.

If you manage to get it partially full, and then want to try to loosen the strap a bit to finish filling it, you can't.  In order to pull the velcro off, you have to yank on it so hard that you inevitably start to let go of the toy itself, and as soon as you jerk the velcro open, water comes out in a geyser.

The preparation and setup of this toy is so damn frustrating, that unless when I finally get to use it and it feels absolutely phenomenal, I'll have to say that it's not worth it.

Another major issue for me is that this toy simply wastes huge quantities of water!

I'm afraid that I can take a Meiki Maria Ozawa or ZXY, and insert it into a pile of pillows or a piece of soft foam, and set that up in a matter of SECONDS, and achieve pretty much the same hands-free sensation that this toy provides.

The other problem I am already seeing with this toy as well is the psychological distraction of using it.  The whole time you're looking down fucking it, you're thinking, "what happens if the seal breaks, or the toy bursts, and water goes everywhere?"  The anxiety of that thought alone kills a lot of the sexual energy and the relaxation that a toy should provide.  It's a bit difficult to get into a good masturbation session when you are preoccupied with the possible leakage of a couple gallons of water onto your carpet or computer desk.  The fact that as you use the toy, the material gradually weakens, is yet ANOTHER distraction.  Will this masturbation session be the time where it finally fails and bursts?  Or do I have a few more uses?

Some years back, there was a product called the "Softie".  It was a similar concept, essentially you would buy them in packs of 20 or 50 or 100 at a time.  They were one-time use individual sleeves made out of a garbage bag-like material.  You'd fill them with warm water up to a fill-line, twist them, and then tie off the end.  They worked AMAZINGLY well.  They felt quite real, and preparation was about 10 seconds.  It too utilized the sensation and tension of water to achieve a realistic vaginal canal.

I do not mean any disrespect to the designers of this toy, as I said, the concept is an excellent one.  The idea of using water to surround a masturbation cavity is a very good one, and sounds like it does provide a very realistic tension as real flesh would when surrounding a vaginal canal, and penetrating a vagina.

The problem is, I don't know how it feels because I can't USE the damn thing!

I also own a soloflesh.  I totally agree that they need a better fill system as it is a pain to fill.  It is hefty when filled with water and very difficult to use in cowgirl position as it tend to flop around a little like a water balloon.  Eventhough there is no inner texture it still feels awesome when it is filled with warm water.  The pressure feels realistic.  My only problem is with lube.  The manufacturer recommends water-based lube which is what I always use with my toys anyway.  However after trying different water-based lubes I find that they all dry out after a few minutes and then it starts to become painful from the friction of dry rubber rubbing against member.   Has anyone else had this problem and has anyone come up with a way to get the lube to last a little longer.  I have not been able to finish in this product because I just got tired of having reapply lube every few minutes and just finished the job the old-fashioned way.  Could be a better product with a few improvements.

I got one of these about a week ago and I'm really unimpressed with it.  The worst part isn't even having to fill it with water.  It is the fact there is no inner texture.  I never liked my Fleshlight Original for the same reason.  I thought this might make up for the lack of texture with its warmth, size, and bounciness.  But I was wrong.  If you are looking specifically for a toy that is not very intense, this isn't a bad choice. It is definitely better than a Fleshlight Original, anyway!

I also found that lube dries out really fast with Soloflesh.

I love the soloflesh. It is near perfect. I echo the the disappointment of other owners in the lack of internal textures, and the obvious engineering flaw of not providing a proper filling solution. Until Soloflesh v.2, I use a Quick-Fit Tap Connector Set, 6 ft hose, and a small mouth nozzle (optional) to alleviate the frustrations and mess that comes with trying to fill this thing.

Claber 8587 Quick-Fit Tap Connector Set:

Apex 887-6 5/8-Inch x 6-Feet Hose Reel Leader Hose:

Melnor 525C Brass Hose Nozzle with Rubber Grip:

Swap out the tap aerator with the aerator that comes with the Quick-Fit Tap Connector Set. I leave the Quick-Fit Tap Connector Set aerator on the bathroom tap so that I can easily snap on the Quick-Fit Tap Connector whenever I am ready to fill the Soloflesh. The 6 ft hose is plenty long enough to reach into the bathtub where I fill the Soloflesh. The small mouth nozzle makes for a much easier grip for creating a tight seal when filling with water. Any spillage of water when removing the nozzle from the Soloflesh neck is minimal because the smooth, narrow exterior of the nozzle slides out of the Soloflesh neck effortlessly. Spilled water goes down the bathtub drain. This method is infinitely easier than the mess I had to put up with before. The nozzle also allows easy cleaning of the Soloflesh after use.

Soloflesh really needs to reengineer the toy with a built in filling port. Until then, may I suggest users of the Soloflesh follow this example, or please present a simpler alternative.

I have only had it for about 4 months and I love the way the soloflesh feels. I've got a good sink and faucet for filling it so that was never really a problem. It was a challenge when I first got it trying to figure out the juggle of filling and keeping it from spraying water everywhere as I tried securing the velcro on it, but after some trial and error I figured out the best way of getting it all secured.

I did always have that fear of it bursting so I mainly used it in the shower, keeping to a cowgirl style or propping it on the small ledge of the tube for doggy style. I always made sure never to overfill it as I constantly weighed it to ensure it was never over 15lbs. I did start to see some wear after only a few weeks of use on the side of one of the cheeks and by the vaginal area where it looked like the silicone was slowly stretching, which did worry me, but I assumed that it was normal and kept using it. A few days ago disaster struck as I was having a good time and that slight stretching turned into a huge hole and water went everywhere. Luckily I was in the shower so nothing got damaged, I would've been extremely upset if that had happened all over my bed or anywhere else.

I've been trying to decide if I should buy another one based on the experience I had or if I should find something else. I feel like it was a well spent $80 I just don't want this kind of thing to keep happening every 4 months.

I enjoy mine. Just got it last week. Did notice that the warmer the water the better the feeling. I let my water get pretty warm (not boiling) though. Not sure if I would buy another if this breaks as it is a trial and error getting water in it. I suggest keeping your sexcapades in the shower/tube. If it does a nuke plant melt down on you the spill will be contained. Overall a good product. Won't replace my lady but its less talkative afterwards.
