there are many many mods you can try before you just render them useless.  most of here use mods, i dont use one for tightness however, since im pretty girthy as is.  some members talk about twist ties, rubber bands, medical bandage wrap, and workout stretch wraps for instance that they use to make them tighter.

The cheapest way to tighten them up is to just roll Saran wrap around the toy.  It sticks to itself well and can be tossed in the trash afterward.

Just wanted to update that today I have seen the light. Gave it a good go shot without the stress of life on my shoulders and my mind clear.
