For me, instead of modifying an item, I first ask myself what I'm doing that makes my experience good or great.

First and foremost, I really need foreplay, or else, its a short and almost unsatisfying session.

Second, stress; get whatever I need to get things off my back, take the piss/dump/both, get towels and all the other needed stuff, get the porn downloaded most of all, don't multitask; make a playlist and memorize keyboard shortcuts.

Third, lube well and don't go overboard with the "charging", building the climax up too much will result in no climax or an overcharged climax. It doesn't feel good, but it does mean you'll be ready for second round a lot sooner.

If you don't have enough time then don't do it! The resistance to urge is quite rewarding in the end.
