Fera Zoma
« on: January 11, 2011, 01:20:15 PM »
Anyone else get this? I just got it in today and analyzing it I find the material to be much softer. Also it came in such a small box. The Zoma is quite small and it looks so far to be able to give a reasonable amount of pleasure. only one thing I am unsure about is the little tongue bulge inside the center. It looks like with vigorous usage it probably could get a small tear and eventually fall out...but I am pretty easy going with my toys so I don't see that happening anytime soon.

I got it in the mail yesterday.  I like it and all, but I'm going to have to take the soldering iron to it.  It already has splits trailing back a half inch where the upper and lower halves meet.  My junk isn't monstrous and I wasn't using it extremely vigorously, so it wasn't that.  Bad glue I suppose.

Yeah I noticed that too, the toy is basically two pieces adheared together. its like the bottom half is a discloured platform of the zoma. I don't know why they didn't just mold it into 1 peice instead of two. I would say that is the only flaw of the design. The cool thing though is the the bottom is completely flat, so essentially you could place it on a flat surface and use it without it rolling around.  Oh Well, if it does get destroyed I will be ordering the extreme impact to replace it.

I'm reading the description on this toy .. i guess the dual layer system with soft bottom and firm top is built by fusing thsoe two different piece of silicone...i suppose there's not many otehr way to do this....heh

Got mine yesterday and the entrance split on me as well. My overall first impression was good sans the entrance splitting in half. The material is way softer than the fera master and suction was about the same. But this toy has some obvious flaws that'll I'll get into in my review.

lol, so that makes the 3 of us. I just got a "lets put a smile on that face." with my zoma last night (mouth split horizontally from cheek to cheek). I really wasn't mad...just disapointed.  This is definitly a flaw and I hope that anyone looking to get this one just stick with the fera master if you don't already have one  =/

I'd say the suction is slightly less but the material is much nicer.

Soldering iron will seal it back up but the smell is horrific.  Now it has a couple Dark Knight era Joker scars on it.  "Why so serious?"

Nevermind.  Busted again.  Guess the two materials don't melt together so well.

Just got mine today.

Small tears on either side of the mouth after a couple minutes of (gentle) fooling around. After maybe ten minutes of somewhat less-gentle fooling around, the tear on one side grew, and grew, and is now about 3/4" long. The "short" tear (the one that never grew) was just in the soft part. The "long" tear was at the place where the two materials are joined together.

It still works, but only after I'm completely ready, if you know what I mean. Any less ready, and pressure gets put on the long tear, making it longer. If it keeps tearing, I'll eventually have not a Fera Zoma, but a Fera Hot Dog Bun.

I'm not sure the two-texture idea is really working out in practice. I can see how it would work better if you have one inside the other. But glued together like this, with the joints being put under a lot of pressure with every, er, thrust, it's just asking for mechanical failure.

Ah well. Still fun to play with.
