Fixing a tear in Meiki material?

I have had two Meiki Rola's and they each got a small tear along the opening very quickly. Over time the tears became quite large, and I'm afraid they will become unusable if not fixed. I have tried various repair methods with little success: super glue (left a hard crystal residue), thread (came loose), rubber glue (didn't stick), heating with a soldering iron (melts too quickly). On my second Rola I even made a preemptive cut along the opposite side of the opening, hoping to encourage it to tear in that direction instead (didn't work).
Any suggestions?

I've had similar issues with sleeves and hips. My soldering skills are sadly lacking and it sucks to trash a once perfectly good sex toy. So I did some research and recently ordered Sil-Poxy Silicone Adhesive from Amazon. This was recommended by folks who have invested in expensive silicone sex dolls. I'll try it out and post my review if it works. I'll also suggest that ToyDemon stock it if it does the job.

I tried several glues and silicone adhesives with limited success. The common problem I had was tat the glue, when set, was firmer than the surrounding material. I found this distracting and downright irritating. In my research I saw that the makers of silicone dolls provide a repair kit. That makes sense because an small tear in a doll that cost several thousand bucks would be a massive waste of money. I think the important thing is to get an adhesive matched to the toy material.
