Hey all! New here! I just ordered my first meiki toy (meiki pure hip) and it arrives tomorrow.

My question is, is it safe to clean the toy the morning after? I ask because I see this being an issue after what will probably be the first of many late night sessions tomorrow. So, can I hit it and quit it? Lol

You might get away with it, or you might not.  I've used plenty of TPE toys like this and never had a mold problem.  I always rinse them out right after, but I usually don't go to much effort to dry out the tunnels so they can stay damp for days.  Damp, but relatively clean.  That is very different compared to containing lube, skin cells, and body fluid.  TPE is a porous material and the pores can trap mold and bacteria.  Once micro-organisms get a foothold, they may be impossible to fully eradicate, so bad smells could return quickly.

If I were you, I'd go ahead and try, and just clean it out at the earliest convenience even if that is 8 hours later. If you end up ruining the hip after a week, well, in the grand scheme of things it isn't really that expensive and you can learn from it.

Cleaning a TPE toy a few hours later should not create mold issues. My limit on dirty used toys is 12 hours to avoid smell and mold issues.

Just finished cleaning the MPH for the first time. That was an adventure! I'm sure it will get easier once I have a process.
