Hey everyone,

I deceided to buy the EPH a while ago. I read reviews before and realized that they are harder to clean but thought "How bad can it be? Just takes 10 minutes to rinse them out and done". Well... Getting them rinsed out is really not too hard in a bathtube, a shower and some water pressure. BUT. I see no way I ever get the inside to dry.  It's not only a tunnel, there are holes and caveties - probably for vacuum suction - at the end too where wetness (not the good kind) stays. It's physically impossible that it dries on it self, as the entrance is closed and I can't even really think of a tool which would allow it to get the moistness out.
So. It seems only a question of time before mold and bacteria will start to grow at least at the very inside of it. I have anti-bacteria toy cleaner, but it doesn't go that far in. Not something where I'd want to stick some important part of me in.

Right now this problems really seems to make it useless as a toy for me. But then those seem to be a fairly common toy for others so somehow it can be made work. How? Do you get the inside dry (if so how)? Or just ignore the water inside?

I've got an idea!

Get a ~8" x 3/4" plastic tube and sand the inner and outer lip edges so it's rounded with zero edges anywhere.  Roll up a microfiber cloth and pass it through the tube so it's just barely sticking out past the rounded end.  After a good washing (using a wine bottle seems to work nicely!) gently insert the tube + cloth inside the cavity, then push on the back of the cloth with a chopstick while removing the tube, which will expose the cloth directly to the cavity wall, all the way from the depths to the entrance.  Let it sit for a while then remove the cloth.  It should be dry enough in some hours

Try an aquarium air pump.  This will actually pump air through the cavity, accelerating the drying process.  An alternative/supplement is to insert tampons.

I usually just rinse out the cavity and then leave it upside down with entrance facing down for a bit and try to shake out any excess water. Sometimes I'd stick a paper towel gently into it to soak up more water. Then I just leave it to dry facing down again on a towel... so far it hasn't mold.

After many years of faithful service, my EPH Shinsei just plain wore out. My replacement arrived yesterday, and before trashing the old one, I was curious to know why I always had difficulty removing all of the water from cleaning, so I took a surgeon's scalpel to her. Turns out there's a large cavity at the end of the vaginal tunnel that creates a sinkhole for lube, water and everything else.

So this explains why I could always hear some liquid sloshing around inside regardless of my focussed attempts to dry the EPH.

So now I'm extra careful to rinse and rinse again after each use.
