Hi all, I'm trying to find recommendations for something that provides the most unique sensation. Not necessarily looking for realism, but I am trying hard to decide between the zxy, sarah, julia; or what are thoughts about single layer sleeves, like the later generation meikis?

They are all unique. Ive got most of the NPG line and I was shocked at how much difference there is between meikis even those in the same subset.

You need to define "unique" for yourself in order for us best to help.  Do you want a mieki that gets you off fast? Low and slow that knocks you out for a few minutes after? Somewhere in between?

Also, how big is durability to you? If I said the most unique (imo) is one of the most fragile, does that factor in? (will this be your only sleeve for awhile?)

Not bashing you, just relating that you are all over the map with your choices. Lay out what your needs are, how durability factors in, and anything else you can think of that is relevant and we can guide.

As to your mentions:

Zxy - instense. Kinda unique but mostly due to the hump. Everyone seems to get one at some time though so that kills a lot of the novelty around here.

Sarah - More realistic dual layer (but not "real" by any means) Smoother. One of those love it/hate it sleeves. Prob lower in durability score.

Julia - Intense. Really pays off if you like to nail her. (long strokes, active, high speed work) Mine seems bombproof.

Singles - less uniqueness over the line but I find Rola or Osawa to be the most unique experience Ive found. Durability, again, may factor in.

Not on your list but wild/crazy/unique as hell is the Monster Wet Real. I pride myself on knowing my body and whats going on with it at any given moment. MWR destroys any notions I have of being aware and in control. Its a mindbender. Its the only sleeve Im actually a little scared of at times.

Durability is not a huge factor, but i'd definitely like to get a decent amount of use out of it.

Is the hump in zxy that noticeable? I guess its hard to decide between that and julia+. I was also looking at monster wet real, but am just having a super hard time picking one...

What would you recommend as a the first one to get? providing the most variability in sensation?

Nah man, ya did great. Honestly, my biggest foible here is I think in experienced terms as, well, thats what I am. 

First, Its really hard to go wrong first time out/early on. There's so much to do/learn/experience it sorta just settles itself. You cant pick "wrong", maybe more to your tastes but if you are newish, how exactly would you know what they are? 

Yes, ZXY's hump is not only noticeable, it's memorable. That's not to say it's the best feeling or best out there, it's just not something you arent going to forget easily. (whether you love it or could leave it)

Variability in sensation is a double edged sword. When you are starting out, repeatable experiences are great because you learn the most while you play because everything is pretty much the same each time out. You learn nuances like when and where you like to get "hit", what works for you and doesn't, etc etc. 

I assume variety is wanted due to worry about it getting "stale."  It's possible, sure, but having had a ZXY exclusively for 6 months and still returning to her again and again for a solid year, Id venture you no longer enjoying it due to familiarity is unliikely (hell, I LOVED her familiarity. Its what brought me back.)

Another coolness of the ZXY is flipping her over "doggystyle" (as some call it) is a pretty different experience. Same profile (softness, tightness, etc) but that flip makes the sensations noticeably different. Might suit you or not, but it should be tried.

IMO much of the "first choice" decision is influenced by how you play now (which, sadly, dudes are afraid to discuss sometimes) and what your needs/expecations are. I can apply all the knowledge and knowhow from my own journey but they more info given and that I can relate to my own experience, the far better the advice I give will be.

So, critically answer at least these questions for starters:

How do you primarily play now?

Tried any other products/devices? Liked/disliked and why?

Will you be relying on one onahole only for at least the foreseeable future or would you go for a couple if it made a solid difference in your enjoyment of both? (don't feel like you have to money up or else it's no fun. I'm just suggesting two often is exponenetially better than one due to being able to try a wider range of sensations)

And, of course and just as importantly, feel free to reel off any and all things you think might be relevant. There's really no wrong answers and if there's anything that really stands out about this place, its that people really rarely judge. So whatever winds your sails probably winds somebody elses around here and their knowledge can save you a lot of time and money if you have the courage to ask for it.

And ultimately, as Im always saying, there's no wrong answers, I swear. If we could somehow send you down to different paths, future you is likely going to be so infinitely delighted with his decision to "Meiki"-up, the fact that he may feel 5-10% better having gone another direction is inconsequential. Laughable actually.

The Meiki Sarah really soured me on getting another dual layered sleeve since its durability is awful. I then got a Superb Fella 3 and it has had solid durability so that made me think maybe dual layer isn't so bad. Still, I'd be hesitant to get a NPG dual layer sleeve and if I ever get another dual layer I'd probably go with the Julia seeing as it is cheaper and the canal looks nice.

I'd also recommend the Tenga Flip Holes if you don't have one. They are unique and are a really great toys. I am a multi toy owner and I like the variety of having two different style (the Maria and the Meiki Clone Hoshino) Meikis, 2 flip holes and the superb fella 3 for the oral experience. I used to have a Heps Fantastic which was indeed fantastic and a better oral toy for me than the SF3 yet it tore at the sides of the mouth and got beyond the point of repair. I also currently own 3 Tenga 3D sleeves and have owned the other 2 but I am sort of off these and will probably chuck them out as the 5 other toys are plenty.

The nice thing with owning different style toys is you are assured a unique feeling.
