I'm watching ep. 1 right now. I never managed to sit through drama, let's see if this is any different Edit: okay, got through ep. 1 although I often screamed a the screen LOL. The story is pretty entertaining.
man you are just making me watch shows after shows now aren't you!?!?!?I liked your recommendation of House of Cards......i shall give this a shot.
If you liked City Hunter.........then I shall give this series a go.First ever K-drama I watched was City Hunter, started slow at first then got interesting. Became a fan of Park Min-Young afterwards and watched a couple more k-drama with her in it!! So far all the k-dramas I watched had her in it.Loved City Hunter, so when I find time I am going to start 49 days!

I have Netflix and the only thing worth watching on Netflix are the foreign films 99% of the time.So far I've seen Pasta,Protect the Boss, and Prosecutor Princess. They were all pretty dang good.

I know Kdramas are misogynist but this one took it to another level in terms of how pathetic the protagonist was!

I know Kdramas are misogynist but this one took it to another level in terms of how pathetic the protagonist was!Mostly I liked it because of the Chef. He was a real hard ass but he knew how to get the job done. It was just funny watching him busts everyone's balls including the owner of the restaurant. I just didn't like how the girl "the main character" kept making him soft so he started to lighten up a bit. I also got kind of tired of her but because the other females around the restaurant looked hotter. Like the owners sister and his old flame Miss Korea, I mean the female head Chef.
So I watched it all, first drama I finished. Was pretty enjoyable, wished it was a little higher budget at some parts though. For example, if you marathon some episodes you hear the same songs/BGM over and over and over and over, lol. The writing was all right, though, no complaints there! The acting was mostly good, too. Worth watching. But dear lord, that last episode was.. real shitty. lol.
