As of a week ago I never even knew this category of product existed. Up until this past weekend I was fixated on the Fleshlight, mostly because it was all I had found - plus the Girls series *look* pretty nice. However, I'm not that thrilled with the reports of them going sticky and needing powdering... plus they're a bit on the large side, and lose almost all of their "stealth" nature when they come in something other than plain black plastic.

So far I'm liking a lot of these Japanese versions, including the high realism of the interiors versus the Fleshlights... but the one thing most are really lacking on is any sort of external realism. And for me, that's part of the whole package.

Is there anything that would be good for a first timer? Prefer not to get into too large a scale, also want it soft, durable, easy maintenance... the perfect product, of course! :-)

Well if money isn't an issue I'd go for Meiki product. They're very soft and realistic, and make very high quality toys. The Maria Owaza onahole is probably their most popular toy. If you're on a budget then you might wanna look into the ToyHeart 17 evo, their first 17 model was very good and the revision certainly seems to be a crowd pleaser.

If you are looking for some stealthy and with external realism, good luck dude. External realism is going into hip/doll category of sextoys. The orifices can get pretty realistic with the hand masturbators.

Also as with any sextoy proper care is the only insure that they won't get dirty or sticky. Generally you only need to power any toy if you're storing them for long periods of time. Regular use and proper cleaning you shouldn't get any tackiness with your toys. I would recommend powdering your toys every once in a while to keep them soft though.

baby powder works just fine for me, but ive only had my stuff for 2 weeks. I just got the meiki Nao hip, i havent used it yet, and im not sure how to go about cleaning it yet.

But my first was the maria, i liked it, i wanted to see which was better so i got the hip as well. I might get the heay hip too if it wasnt 300 bucks.

I have had several of the fleshlights.  Their size makes them much less than stealthy.  They do tend to get sticky and can be annoying to clean.  I haven't tried any of the realistic toys from this site yet but I love the tenga products.  They feel amazing and I love that you can throw them away when you are done.  So far the egg is my favorite.  Talk about stealthy, easy to use, feels amazing and toss it away once it's full of your stuff.

I also love the Tenga US Deep Throat.  I tried most of the japanese models but they are too small for my junk and don't give me the sensations I get from the US models.

I also bought the flip hole which is way easier to clean then the fleshlight and in my opinion feels better.  The design is amazing for cleaning.  I wish they made a US size model but the flip hole stretches enough to work.

These toys don't have the "full package" you are looking for but for me it's how they feel that counts.
