So I went to lunch today around work..and I thought...why not try burger king since I've haven't had that for awhile (probably a good thing) ..went in..look at the menu for a bit and decided to order a Double Cheeseburger for $1.50... man..sure miss the good old days of $1 double cheeseburger from fast food chains.. after a minute or so I got my sandwich... unwrapped it..... "WTF!?!?!" only one slice of cheese!! wait....that can't be right..so I went back to ask the staff...and the dude had the guts to tell me ..that's how they make the sandwich now..with 1 slice of cheese... I had to spell it out for him ..."You call this a Double Cheeseburger on your menu?? are you serious??" , finally they end up adding another slice of cheese to my sandwich...but still firmly stating that it's how they make the double cheeseburger nowadays.... sigh... should of just gone to MCD..at least they dont try to false advertise their burgers to trick customers.. BK you've failed.

BK has really gone down the crapper in quality.  Last time I went there they microwaved a burger right in front of me - disgusting!

I work at Jack In The Box, and most of the Northwest stores here in the US were just sold out to franchise. One of their recent cutbacks has been removing one of the 2 slices of cheese from a lot of the sandwiches, since they dont have to follow the corporate protocol. They also have shut off water to a lot of the dishwashers "because a dirty dishwasher is a health code violation and they're not being cleaned properly". We're pretty sure that means "we cant pay our water bill". But yet they can install a dozen infared cameras in each store to see if were stealing or anything, even in the freezer, in the dark.

You should really em some slack though. I know fast food seems like its work for retards, but I have been at jack in the box for 5 solid years since I turned 16, and it is hell. We have a limited amount of time to slam out all these orders, usually with way less people than we should have, and all the while we get screamed at by psychos and crackheads and old people that cant remember their names. We're constantly getting burned and cut by random shit. And even though I am not a maintenance person and am usually the one cooking the food, I have had to scrub human shit off the bathroom walls on several occasions. And we do it all for minimum wage 

But on your side of it, some people really are fucking idiots. Just wanted to let you know there are things that are way out of our controll, and some of us do care about the quality of your food!

  holy smokes your right they only serve them up with 1 slice now. What the heck? It's called a "Double Cheese" burger.

Not a "Double Hamburger" with Cheese. I haven't been to BK in a while myself though I like their burgers if you find a good one they're the best but oh boy have I had some BAD whoppers but in the summertime - early September ain't no burger touching my mouth that hasn't come off my Charcoal Grill

For me anyways..i've loved BK burgers before..ecpecially when they had the "double cheeseburger"   the charbroiled burger patties are much better tasting than MCD..of course that's until lately when Wendy's started to ramp up their burger line..which are by far the best tasting burgers & Buns out of a fastfood chain...I never get why BK always microwave their burgers but heck..it doesn't taste bad at least..... but this double cheeseburger with 1 slice of cheese has just hit rock bottom.

Here's my take on Fast food..

McDonalds - Avg tasting food / Superbly fast service
Burger King - Slightly above avg food / average service
Wendy's - Above average food / On another planet when it comes to service speed (for every 1 order Wendy's completes, MCD probably have done 5 orders)

After all it's just fast food to get us through the day.....so pick your poison.

 I actually went to BK today. I haven't been there since like March or April I think. I had a double whopper with Cheese and bacon. It costs $5.65 just for the sandwich. WTH? I remember back in the day a whopper meal was like $2.99 and the double whopper was like $3.99 for the meal.  Prices for fast food now is crazy expensive. My bill was $10.00 and all I got was a sandwich and a cinnamon bun. 

 It's going to suck when combo meals are like $8.99 one day.

OK..so yesterday I decide to give BK one last chance...everyone deserves a 2nd chance right?  so me and a co-worker went to the burgerking around the area and I ordered a Bacon Burger for a buck....I was wondering if this will have cheese in it...although as the name reads, i dont expect a slice of cheese....my coworker got the BK stacker for a buck.... so here's what I got compared to his.

Bacon Burger $1
Bun + 1 strip of bacon + 1 patty of hamburger +  sauces

BK Stacker $1
Bun + 1 strip of bacon + 1 patty of hamburger + 1 slice of Cheese + sauces

wait.....WTF ! sigh....
