Hey if I travel with my meiki,
will the airport scan and check?
Anyone have any experience/story?

for one, i want to bring meiki; but then don't want to get stopped by airport security and ask you take it out lol

just check the bag with the meiki in it.i think its cary on that gets checked right in front of people. who cares if they check it in the back room out of public.im no expert on travel though..only gone through airport twice

dopenerd and st4223, unless you're moving to another country or town, working for many weeks far from home, or going on a Himalayan expedition for 2 months, there's no reason to check luggage in an airport anymore. 

So the question is: will airport security personel trot out your Meiki in front of gasping onlookers and render you wishing for a quick death, or will they give you a pass?  It's impossible to predict, even on domestic flights.  BUT, the worst you risk is embarrassment.  For international flights, especially to South America (except for direct flights to Brazil or Argentina) or Central America (Costa Rica excluded), leave the Meiki at home - it's not worth the risk of possible imprisonment.

I think this is probably a case where a disposable Tenga Cup might be a good toy to bring along. They don't look anything like anyone's private parts, and you could just tell airport security that's it's a "health and personal care" product if they ask.  However, I can see a day in the not too distant future where there won't be any shame in carrying a sex toy while traveling anywhere, and I can imagine the possibility of there being a shop or even a dispenser at the airport that sells discrete toys for the frequent flyer.

I suggest to flip the meiki inside out(if your meiki is durable to do so) and hide inside the bag of personal care kit, then whenever custom inspects about your stuff and asks about it, it is more convincingly to say the meiki is belonging one of the stuff of the kit, good?
