Wow, I haven't used Vaseline in sooooo long. The stuff is thick, waterproof and lasts forever, but it is about as hard to remove from your palms as nasty axle grease.  Of course before I started using toys it was olive oil all the way.  It was cheap and readily available right from your own kitchen pantry. I've tried other oils too that are used for therapeutic massaging, but the olive oil just worked for me when I was stuck doing it "cave-man" style with my hand.  However, I really prefer my toys so I'm mostly using water based lubes now like KY, Astroglide and Fleshlube.  I've read some good stuff about the Japanese products so I'm going try out the lube that comes with the Meiki Maria, which I hope to get for Christmas.
