I live in Malaysia, and am in USA at the moment. I wish to a avoid high cost of airline luggage and the hassles of carrying a planet. Kokos items are *really* heavy. And these are the light versions!

But seamail is dead. Not just in Canada, but USPS also. Explanation is some cargo ships don't leave until full. And people were filing insurance claims for missing parcels before items arrived. So air mail only. Add packing materials (worst purchased at post office)  and well - unless one is shipping something totally unbreakable and urgent and impossible to get overseas shipping by post to Asia, even from west coast,  doesn't make sense.

Even pricier using Canada Post though. Fuel? Union wages? But courier is a little more. Actually I will check first.

I wanted to ship ahead to save bulk and weight of luggage three toys. One is $160 or so and weighs a ton. The others hardly worth anything. $80 + packing supplies. Geez, I could buy enroute in Seoul the one item and the other two are of marginal value (past their prime)  so I am actually opting to discard the very used ones.

Who would have guessed that even new sex toys could be albatrosses for the traveller. All of this is without even considering full-size replicas like dolls. I now see the prudence of blowup dolls, though for reasons of Customs in India (and for some products even UK) I can't recommend crossing borders.

A friend in South America pays something like double to order from Toy Demon after shipping and Customs gouges.

Time for 3-D printing?

I hear ya....but 3-D printed stuff are usually harder plastic right?? I wonder if there will ever be a day where we can print 3D toys with soft silicone material.
