I just got the cobra libre, and i really want to just use the damn thing, but the instructions say to charge it for a full 12 hours before i use it. i tried turning it on, and it is already able to turn on. do i really have to charge it 12 hours before i use it?

by the way when i plug in the charger, the charger red light is solid, and the cobralibre touchpad red dot is pulsing on+off slowly. when the charger is disconnected, the red dot on the touchpad does not light up at all. does this mean it is fully charged?

I find no instructions on how long to charge for an initial charge, nor for regular charging. And how do you know if it is fully charged? Does the light change or go off?

Not sure about the meaning of the light, but I can tell you that the Cobra's charging system is utlra flakey. Better to err with too much charge, as an undercharged CL will respond in random ways that will cause you great frustration.
