I ended up ordering the Meiki Plush with some Maria Ozawa Love Potion at midnight, while continuing my research on sleeves. My final selection was quite a bit over budget, but it's alright because I just had to dip into my Newegg budget a little bit.

Same boat. I liquidated almost all my other store budgets.You newbies discovering the Ona way rejuvenated my semi-jaded heart. 

Meiki Hibiki Ootsuki - At first, I only gave Hibiki a brief glance before deciding against her. I did consider it, but the low number of reviews on the ToyDemon store page made me wonder. After Universal's recommendation I checked around some more and found that she is indeed better constructed than Maria Ozawa (being a far newer model, that makes sense). Hibiki retains her realism while adding slightly more sensation, at least that's the hope. Can't wait.

I think she'll have just a touch more intensity for you than an Osawa. That seems to a good thing for most newly convertered. (they tend to come from crappy, hardish, overstimulating toys, or worse, just hand use.

And as much as she's talked about, its always easy to find an excuse to buy an Osawa around here. Its damn near a right of passage for Ona aficionados.

D-HOLE Shiina Hikaru - I originally discovered Shiina by reading crux's thread on lesser reviewed sleeves. There really isn't much info on her. She's got great reviews on the ToyDemon store page, though, and that was a big deciding factor in this purchase. Just thinking about the over-the-top tightness and short canal makes me as hard as I'll need to be in order to use this thing. I really wish there was a direct comparison between Shiina Hikaru and First Sexual Experience. Maybe I should order one and provide just that, as they do seem like very different experiences; dual layered versus single, and First Sexual Experience has the two inches or so of material in the back giving that rough stop.

Crux needs mad props for bringing this to attention and banging the drum furvently. I knew little about it before the sale and from what he's said, its a gem. I didn't get one this time out but its top of my queue.

Monster Wet Real - This one I'm least excited about, but I went ahead with it anyway to have that unique and highly stimulating ride. I'm sure it feels incredible from the reviews I've read, but for some reason it's a little harder for me to be as enthusiastic about this as I am with my other purchases. I think it's the blatant lack of realism. However, the Monster Wet Real should provide a vastly different feel from the others. Looking forward to it and I hope I eat my own words here. Plus it's fifteen bucks cheaper than normal. Heh, why not?

Here's a good reframe for you. It feels incredible, will last you a good long while, and is a totally unique experience. That it looks a little less than realistic is definitely meh when it comes to a Meiki Plush. The plush is what you end up focusing on, not the sleeve. And double bonus, it fits pretty flush with the M.Pl which makes it really rather attractive in combination.

Meiki Zhang Xiao Yu - Saved the best for last. Tempting as she was, I turned my back on EXE Julia +. Zhang is just so adored that it felt shameful to choose Julia over her. Not to mention Julia seems like a downright pain to use with the Meiki Plush, even though ZXY isn't quite an easy fit. I'll end this by saying there are no words to describe how much I long to get inside this girl.

Edit regarding ZXY: I knew I forgot to mention something about Zhang. It was a real tough call for me between ZXY and YJY. This was the hardest decision I had to make when searching for the right combo. The Meiki Yen Jyu Yi is still very attractive to me, and I will likely come back in the future to try her out. The reason I went with the tried-and-true Zhang Xiao Yu is because she is essentially the primary comparison of every other toy out there. Whether the sleeves are similar or not, her sensation is universally used to measure each experience a toy may offer. That is something I could not pass up. And thankfully, while some seem to believe ZXY and YJY are similar in feel, others say that they each offer a different type of stimulation based on tightness and texture, something which I will (most likely) happily shell out another $70 to $80 for in the future.

The Zhang was at the lowest I've ever seen. YJY was not. So when the next sale comes along, the YJY will likely be closer to its current price than the ZXY.

And if youre around here at all, its damn near impossible to avoid ZXY chatter. So less likely with the YJY to feel "missing out."

The YJY cover spread is very attractive at first, but it is a tad less stimulating and the exterior doesn't look as good as the zxy. Yet, discovering is always part of the fun.

The major issue of meikis and their inconsistencies is primarily in the department of quality and erroneous issues at the factory with some batches. Sarah had a REALLY bad rap, especially for the first few editions. This included toy destruction within a single month of use, or worse. Later versions were said to be better, but damage was already done for rating and community. Aside from that, it was the tightest Meiki, and the only camel-toe variant. They are all very good in regards to sensitivity and aesthetics, but buying the newest version feels like russian roulette sometimes.

As for the comparison of Shina and First sexual, I made a comment above about it. I haven't tried the first sexual, but I have had the Naive/Innocent younger sister. Toys heart wins in ease of use, cleaning and general durability but D-hole Shina is nicer in regards to general sensitivity and feel.

Just remember though, the shina is like the tong-ggo in penetration. She is a real pain in the ass in that, but that right there is no different that the 'first sexual experience' ideal, lol.

I've thought the very same thing re: the Sarah. It took a ton of resolve but I did get one because I didn't want to be a hypocrite by dealing only in *theory*

And I laughed at the "Russian Roulette" comment. I think Rola is actually of  Russian/Japanese decent. She's also the latest and likely still in early runs.

Russian roulette for me indeed. But we'll see.

It seems like T Heart is a little less consistent throughout their line. The materials are similar but people differ more in their takes on what its qualities are and how various offerings present. I feel like if I had 5 of their options, Id find their variation more pronounced than say, single layer NPG Meikis.

I've never publicly admitted to this but, the Tong at first was such a bitch. It was so bad I felt no way any break in could save it. Somehow it did though. It's certainly not soft but its manageable, even pleasant when in the mood for it. But the first few runs were like trying to stick my dick in the smallest hole of a pencil sharpener.

Magic Eyes is, erm, unique. They aren't scared to put a product out there, that's for sure. I kinda wanted the Girl in the Box after reading some reviews but the artwork was creepy. Not that it's going to be on display but if ever packaging was going to become
"Exhibit A", that one would most certainly be it.

I just wanted to pop in and give a big "thank you!" to Universal and other active members on this forum.  I also splurged during the Thanksgiving sale and threads like these were invaluable when I was researching potential purchases.
