SO did everybody here had to pick their package from the post office? cuz i dont wanna order and it comes home when im not...
God forbid my parents from getting it...

They attempt to deliver it to your house first.  If no one is there to receive it, it'll end up at the post office for pickup.

I was worried about that too because my parents had a day off this week.  I dunno what I would say if they opened it.. and I don't know what I'll say if they find it...

oh okay thats cool then ill just pick a time when im home and my parents arent.... or is there a way to send it straight to the post offices?

All taxes needs to be paid. I live in B.C. It always take somewhere around 2 weeks for me to receive the package. (Which has nothing to do with TD of course, they ship right away) It's the damned Canadian customs, not only do they hold packages for so long, they poke holes in my toys to check for drugs (A very plausible theory since it happened 2 times), which always result in noticable damage. One of the hole rendered my hip no longer air tight, It's not a noticible "Hole" , it look like a small scratch on the hip, but if you blow air into it, it will sound like a loose fart and the hole will show. The end of my Maria Ozawa is a little torn but still air tight.

Now you scared me =[ I just placed an order on Meiki Ozawa... and yet it is my first ever 'toy', I certainly want it to be in perfect shape, but ah well, let's hope Canadian custom now got used to these 'toys' by now, and won't be poking around...

It's been a while since I started the thread. If anyone else from Canada is curious how it all went, here is my story:
I placed an order for a meiki toy + lube on the 13th of December, the package was processed at the border on the 16th; the total value was ~$150, and customs charged me ~$20 of GST/HST, $8 handling fee, but no duty. Canada Post tried to deliver the package but since I wasn't home, it went to a local office, where I picked it up later (that also where I paid the tax).

So, there was no issue with ordering at all. The toy (Maria Ozawa) is, of course, amazing - just as we have been told by many other forum members. The only problem I have with the toy is that the canal bends off centre to the left as it goes deep inside. I have no idea why it's like that, and, unfortunately, there was no way to discover the defect before the first use. I just hope the new toy will have no issue when I order next time.

that's pretty much my story as well, though of course I waited around 6-10 days to receive it. either someone in my house will receive it (which 90% of the time won't be) or it will hit the office, in fact, the ones that needs payment usually hits the office first.

i cant remember wat it said on the box but i got mine around 6days(btw im currently living in toronto as well, but when i ordered lik a week ago i was in ottawa) and i dont think they checked mine for drugs because the seal isnt broken yet and no they didnt ask me for tax or anything.

i believe i chose the USPS first class shipping

I'm not canadian, but what I can gather from this topic, is that if you order 1 day shipping, you'll get it without having to pay taxes or worrying about having it poked and wrecked.

Hello, fellow Canadians. Got 2 questions.

1) From what I can tell from the replies, the majority of you are ordering using USPS First Class Mail shipping?
2) Don't find "personal massager" to be the best choice of words for discreetness. Lol. Besides having these words outside the package, do these words (or meiki maria ozawa) also appear on your billing statement?

If you're living close to a Canada Post office then yes, but they always try to deliver to house first (or they just leave a "failure to deliver" notice and tells you where to pick it up).
