cleaning meikis without deteriorating?

I've been cleaning my maria with soap for the past two years ever since I purchased it, and ive gotta say the inner canal has deteriorated where there are valleys and rips if you stretch the material, I.E. put your dick into it. Kinda looks like the splits and valleys on a tongue (forgot the name for that condition). I was wondering, is this caused from the soap, and if so, what chemical in soap causes this? is there a soap that would not deteriorate the material?

You should use organic or mild/gentle soap. If you use the cheapest consumer grade soap out there it's chemical to the max.
But I'm not sure if it's the soap causing this, though, we're talking two years here. After using and washing all this time, it's only normal the material wears down. There's a certain amount of oil in this polymer material, it gradually seeps out and starts to deprecate. Considering you used a toy for years I still feel you had a great bang for buck, no? (hehehe bang for buck, got it? ........... yeah ok)
Top recommendations 1: Julia + (intense, realistic sensations at a not-so-intense price) 2: First Sexual Experience (personal favorite)
3: Wet Meiki SHIN (revolutionary soft but gripping material). Honorable Mention: Tomax 2D Wavy Ripple (great for transition hand-> toy)

I usually just light rinse my toys with water...once awhile i use some mild hand soap...but just water usually does the job.. like Flammz said..there's oil that's in these silicone materials..i would think soap will only cause it to dry out faster aside from it's normal rate of oil content seepage.
