so trying to decide between these two and was wondering if there is anyone out there that has used both with a plush. What I'm looking for mainly is just how well they fit in the MPD without compressing and needing to tighten the string too much to hold the inserts in. Right now I have the Tomax Lilith and Meiki ZXY. The lilith fits ok but I need to really tighten the string in order to prevent it from falling out and that makes it feel a little too tight. The ZXY is just really tough to get in and when I finally do, there's still a lot of material hanging out. The compression also makes it feel a little too tight.

Is it correct to assume the Meiki Real will fit better since it was designed to work with the plush? The Maria looks very similar to the real except it has a flatter front

They both work well with the plush.  The Maria hangs out just a tiny bit maybe 1/2 inch while the Real fits flush against the doll.  However with the Maria you can tighten the ties all the way and at least for me it didn't feel too tight.  The Real on the other hand is tighter than the Maria.  If your budget allows you could get both.  With Maria on sale  it's only a few dollars higher than the Real.  And at least for me the Maria feels a little more realistic than the Real.
