I was wondering what lubes would be safe to use with a Meiki (XYZ specifically). I am looking for something a lot thicker than most water based lubes, and was wondering if it was safe to use something like vaseline? Or anyone have any other suggestions for thicker lubes?

We don't recommend anything outside of water-based product as it could damage it.

Maximus is a very thick water based lube.  Not my favorite, though.  Even though it's not tacky and lasts a long time, it's just too thick for my preference.  You might like it, though.

Slippery Stuff Gel is about halfway between most water based lubes and Maximus as far as viscosity, but it tends to dry out and become tacky fairly quickly.  On the other hand it is very inexpensive, and a little goes a long way (like the Maria Ozawa lube).

Whatever lube you use, DO NOT use Vaseline on your toy!

It appears to be water based and according to some of the amazon reviews its supposed to be pretty thick... Anyone know how it compares to that Maximus stuff?

I have never seen this one..... I usually go with the Ozawa lube, Toyfluid or Astroglide, I used to have ID glides but i still prefer the ozawa lube since the consistency is perfect for me.

Probe is a good lube by the same company that makes Maximus.  It's medium thick (about like Slippery Stuff Gel), and thinner than Maximus.  Slippery Stuff Gel is much less expensive, but that may be because it has a squirt top    instead of a push dispenser    
Maria Ozawa lube is just perfect for Meiki toys, way better than ID or Astroglide.  

The BEST, longest lasting water based lube I have ever used is Hathor Aphrodisia Lubricant Pure with Horny Goat Weed, but it is very very (have to add one more very) expensive.

Hrmm well wish I knew that before.. I ordered a bottle of Probe thinking it was thicker than Maximus (Probe says thick and rich right on the front!). Just how much thicker is maximus than probe? Will I be able to tell a huge difference between the two?

Probe is "thick and rich", just not at thick as Maximus.  In my opinion, Probe is the better choice for your Meiki - it feels more like a woman's natural juices.  Here's an example:  if you put a small amount of each lube on the back of your hand and then turn your hand over facing down, the Maximus will practically stay put, while the Probe will slowly gravitate (not drip) off your hand.

Hope this helps.  Again, I think you made the best choice, although the Maria Ozawa is better than Probe, IMO.

I love the lubes that they give with the Meiki's.  The Maria Ozawa lube is my fav out of all the ones I've tried.  But the YJY and ZXY lubes are really good too.
