SpaceX has won the NASA contract to transport astronauts! They've already flight proven their Dragon spacecraft, now they just have to develop a launch escape system that will make it safe for people to ride in. The launch escape system is what ejects the spacecraft from the rocket if some thing goes wrong while in flight.
