I'm still behind on Breaking Bad too, but I'm on a watching schedule with that with my girlfriend so I can't watch it as fast as I'd like :)

I really like it. But watch two episodes before you make your judgment :). Kevin Spacey is a tremendous actor. At times his accent gets a bit too gravy-like stereotypical for me, but then I'm not expert on South Carolina drawls. Overall I think the show is very, very good and shows the evil that men (and women) are capable of committing in pursuit of ambition.

Because of you demondabbler, I ended up finishing the season in like 3 days!! That show is awesome!!!!

I do find Spacey's accent sometimes a little bit too much, however, it does make me believe his character that much more.

I found the show to be more interesting in the beginning though. The whole Peter Russo thing towards the end kinda took a different direction than I expected. I want it this to be all about politics: lying, cheating, betraying aspect of it. I don't want things to become actually illegal like what happened towards the end. I don't wanna spell it out because I don't want to spoil it for people.

You know what the sad thing is? Because it does show how true and selfish all these lobbyist and politicians are. No wonder we have laws like no computer tracking and tracing of guns and things that should get passed will never pass. Actually upsets me.

I can't wait for season 2!

Hey DaaBears!

I'm glad to hear you liked the show.

I completely agree with you about your assessment regarding the illegal activity. In fact, I personally wanted to root for the protagonist, however slimy a politician he might be. I wanted to think that this was all part of the plan of an essentially good man who is willing to do terrible things to get what he wants, but at that moment I lost a lot of faith and frankly interest in Frank Underwood. For me, Peter Russo was THE most convincing character on the show and I am sad that they cut him out. He was somebody I can identify with.. just a regular human being with some problems he is trying to overcome. What they did to him is something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. I really hope politics isn't like this.

It doesn't help that now I imagine all rich politicians to be greasy Southerners ;)

Yes, it is quite upsetting. Though I wanna see what Frank is going to do now at his new position. It should be very interesting!

On another note, I am currently watching Prison Break (never saw it back in the days, was a huge 24 fan but never watched prison break.) but I don't think I am as drawn in as I am watching 24 or even House of Cards.......does it get better? For anyone that has seen it? Currently in season 1 episode 15 or so.

I lost interest in Prison Break around that time too :)
