First thoughts:

The package arrived at 9am, wed after having shipped on monday. Fedex is fast. The box was exactly 12 lb. I weighed it. Not too heavy I think. There's no markings on it indicating the contents, so you don't have anything to worry about.

Inside the cardboard box is another white box with a clear opening where, if positioned right, you can peek at the toy's labia. Open that, then the toy is inside a clear plastic bag. There are no instructions or Japanese packaging of anykind. Not necessary, but I would have liked to see it because I know some Japanese.

The toy was very soft and jiggly. Cold to the touch and a little bit oily, but I think that comes off on washing. It really is just a big hunk of silicon. It's really pink too. Really pink. A light pink kinda like a pastel pink you see around Easter time. I used to have fleshlights, so it's kinda like that color of pink. But a totally different material. Did I say jiggly? It feels great squeezing the ass. It was cold that day too, so the toy was ice cold to the touch.

I measured it and the hip is 24" waist and 27" hip. So in panty sizes it's an XS. I got some Hello Kitty S boy shorts and they were too loose. But a black "free size" thong fit perfectly. There are some small details like a belly button and back crease -- nice but only noticeable if you look closely. The size is like that of a REALLY petite woman, maybe even a pubescent girl. With no hair too, I'm guessing that the designer has a lolita fetish, lol =)



Doing it:

First I tried fingering it. It felt tight, but not too tight. Just right. But the inside was ice cold! I tried using a warming blanket and then an electric fan. The outside warmed up, but the inside was still cold. Eventually I just fingered it until it got warm enough.

The lube was perfect. A little bit stringy and thick, just the right texture. I lubed it up and inserted... and it was hard to insert. Then I adjusted the angle (remember it goes at a 45 degree angle) and it slid right in.  

The first time was really awkward and I had trouble getting used to the angle, the feeling, and different positions. I actually ejaculated outside, without orgasm (has that ever happened to you?). The second and third times were better. There really is a learning curve, even if you're experienced with sex toys.

Also, I tried going anal and it felt exactly the same as the vagina. It could be the curve again, that my body is not yet sensitived enough to tell the difference. I am still testing the positions and the environment (like candles and incense) to improve the mood and experience. A good idea is to put the flat part against a wall, a mirror on the floor, hold the toy with both hands, and insert. You can see both the top and the bottom really good.

As for durability, I really don't know yet. I saw some people talk about tearing, but nothing for me so far. The fleshlights I used to have tore at the labia but that didn't affect it that much. It was tearing in the FL canal that made me throw them out. What I've seen on the hip so far is some flaking on the flat part's edges, some stickiness on my funnel when cleaning, and slight anal tearing. Small imperfections but nothing too serious... right now. Again, I've just barely started to use this toy.


Conclusions for now:

I have mixed feelings. On the one hand, I love the size and weight because it makes it really realistic. Fucking it does feel pretty good too, in all kind of positions. It's the best toy short of dolls or a real girl. I feel oddly content, becuase if I had gotten a smaller size toy I would still have had that envy or curiousity about the hip size.

On the other hand, I didn't enjoy it EXTREMELY because of 1) learning curve 2) perhaps over hyped expectations 3) a cold and stress otherwise bogging me down. 4) quality has room for improvement.

Suggestions to designer or TD - 1) hip needs to be a size or two bigger like a real woman. 2) back crease/belly button more defined. 3) higher quality materials & molding process -- use zxy & meiki 006 dual layer system and those materials for both inside and the outside 5) cheaper of course 6) post waist and hip measurements online as part of the description. 7) include japanese packaging if possible.

Nice review man. Too bad it wasn't up to what you expected. One thing I do notice from all these Japanese sex toys are that they don't come with any instructions, not even with the R-1/A10 Cyclone. But then again, things like hips and onacups and sleeves are pretty self-explanatory for us guys. You see a hole? Stick it in .

awesome review man.. definitely a good piece of ass IMO.. but yeah...most of the Japanese sleeve toys i've gotten so far doesnt provide much instruction..but then like Kuopc said....who needs instruction..there's pretty much only one thing you can do with these things hah....plus I don't understand much japanese anyways....wouldn't know what it says on the box.... the electric toys like R-1 cyclone..are pretty self explanatory too, only one on/off switch and different buttons for different patter modes..pretty easy to understand i guess...ok enuff said...I gotta go...it's friday, i got a date with maria ozawa~.

As far as instructions go, I would have to disagree with those two statements.  They have instructions (prolly not the big hips) located on the outside of the box, and in japanese.

Actually after a week or so of more uses, it's not so bad.

I like the big size and being able to slap it around. I still have to do a little prep-work positioning the pillows and a mirror, but that's extra stuff. I don't have to jiggy up the toy in a shoe or PVC pipe like I used to. It's pretty much good to go as is. On packaging I expected some simple pictures like the ZXY box, but it's not really a big deal. I can be creative myself with panties, body sprays, and incense. This will last me (I hope), until I get a girlfriend. Or the next version of the hip comes out =)


QUESTION -- If you own a hip already, how do you warm it up?

It's hard to warm mine up. Especially it being so cold outside. Right now, I use electric blankets and fans to get it to room temperature. Or I can get the exterior a little bit warmer. Then I can use it as normal, and let my body heat warm up the inside. But I'd like to have the hip all nice and warm to begin with. Warm on the outside like a real body and a little bit warmer too in the canal.

I could put the hip in the oven or dryer, lol =) Or pour boiling water inside it. Good ideas actually... but I could easily ruin the toy too.
