After a long discussion, I got my SO's approval to buy sex toys for myself.  I need some advice on what to buy.  FWIW, I am in my late 30s.  This is probably my only shot at buying something so I don't want to screw it up.  I definitely need to buy something that is going to last awhile and not break down after just a couple of months.

I have been looking at several sites and also reading this forum.  The idea of the R1/A10 cyclone seems appealing to me.  I have not seen too many reviews on this.  Maybe one good review and one not so good review.  To those who have this, how durable is it?  Again, I don't want something that is going to break easily.  Is there something similar to this, but better (even it cost more)?

Off the bat, something like the cyclone is what I am looking for, but after reading many reviews on how great the meiki zxy is, I can't turn a blind eye to this.  I wasn't really looking for something like the tenga fliphole either, but the cost of these two items is about the same as the cyclone. 

So which is a better buy & better experience -- one r-1/a10 clyclone combo -or- both the fliphole & the Meiki Zhang Xiao Yu (Choo Shuu U)?

I was also considering an Aneros prostate massager, but I have hemorrhoids.  So I am thinking this would be out of the question.  Please let me know otherwise.

If I were you, I'd forget about all the others and direct my full attention to ZXY, Maria and Meiki Story Exp. Those are the best ones out there. Btw I'd stay away from R1/A10 cyclone. I heard it's way too stimulating that you can't enjoy it fully. Just seeing it make me cringes. lol

With only "one shot at buying something" you are definitely best off choosing a Meiki.

If you only got one shot at buying something, then definitely choose Meiki products (Japan Meiki). They are by far the most realistic toys. I heard clyclone makes a lot of noise and the sensation is good but nothing close to a real pussy.

Thanks for your answers.  I order the ZXY and the Maria. 

Also do you use the lube on just yourself or squirt some inside of the Meiki, too (if so how much)?  What is the best way to clean these after use?

It doesn't matter if you put the lube on yourself or inside the Meiki,(I personally prefer to put the lube inside) but make sure the inside is somewhat dry because diluted lube doesn't feel nearly as good as concentrated and slippery lube(when it seems to dry out, just add water to revitalise the dried out lube). The amount of depends on the type of lube you are using. If you are using the lube from makers of Meiki, like Maria Ozawa of Zhang Xiao Yu lube, then two drops( they will be large drops because the lube is concentrated, correction: the lube that comes with the toy, not the ones you buy seperately) are enough to last an entire session.

Cleaning:
Run warm water 2-3 times(fill it up like a ballon then let out the water, the Meiki can take it.).
Antibacterial hand soap on fingers, go to town.
Rinse, repeat
For Maria Ozawam you can turn it inside out and dry with a towel.
Since ZXY is double layered, you wouldn't want to take chance to seperate the layers while cleaning. So sub fingers inside, pull out, dry fingers, repeat till mostly dry. Your fingers should dry fast, if they don't then you still have water in there.
