I have never done messagers either and probably never will...but wouldn't you have to insert it in the anus to get to the prostate, I don't think you can stimulate this from the outside, although that would be nice.  Also, I heard it takes a long time for males that do this to find that spot...I don't really know and am not very interested in trying.

having your balls gently massaged while jerking the shaft does improve the sensation (but no scientific evidence to prove it).
another thing to improve the sensation is to rub that small bump between your scrotum when your penis is erect (you'll find it, its obvious).

that muscle "pumps" the semen out so a gentle pressure would greatly increase shooting distance, and at times; volume.
