We have received an inquiry from another shop who wishes to not be referred to within our forum posts. We have edited Toydemon's one post that mentioned them. As a courtesy, we ask that members keep other shops' name out of their posts whenever possible.

it is not legal at the same time it is not illegal. the post may carry false representation even if the post/comment had nothing to do with the quality of the party's service or product quality. doing so can result in lawsuit, but because a lawsuit can cost a great deal, the party would usually just file a complaint and get it over with; failure to comply however may lead to a lawsuit.

that is why there are unsponsored product reviews (which usually come in the form of text/copy) and sponsored product reviews (which comes in the form of video).

that is also why law is blind.

linking wasn't the problem this time... The shop in question just felt the conversation may have been "fake"? They have additionally asked for all mentioning to be taken off from users' post which we are currently debating over.

The comments in question, one was the poster was confused on a product we both carry while the other was about their price were higher. These post are not defamatory and aren't exactly negative either so we are debating whether we need to take them off. Legally we are not worry about it. We don't want to censor the forum too much.
