Question about the Kashins
«
on:

I just received a Kashin I ordered and I have a few questions after reader the instruction manual:
1. It says to wash it with hand soap. Can I use rubbing alcohol instead or will it damage the Kashin?
2. Is there any ingredients in soap or lube that I should avoid (besides silicone) using (I tend to use "natural" type products due to skin sensitivity)?
3. Is talcum powder an necessity to preserve the material or just a way to prevent it from becoming sticky?
Thanks.

1) We currently have not tested Kashin against rubbing alcohol but give us some time as we test it.
2) Mild liquid hand soap is what is recommended. Besides silicone, we don't not know of anything else in soap ingredients that would harm the material.
3) Talcum Powder keeps the material from feeling too sticky/tacky and keeps it dry. It is not a necessity as long as you take care of your Kashin while in use and storage. Others in the forum suggested corn starch or corn starch based baby powder.
