First session with my first non-fleshlight toy ever...

WHOA! The Meiki Pure Hip is the TRUTH!
I have been going through a dry spell of about 4 months now which is quite a while for myself and my libido.
Alas, I pulled out my fleshlights only to be reminded that one had ripped and to discover that the other had a slight odor that I couldn't seem to remove. You know what? I didn't really like them anyway.
Now, I had seen non-fleshlight toys in shops before but never really paid any attention to them. But, then I began "poking around" the interwebz and landed here.
The hips caught my attention right off the bat because though I had purchased two fleshlights in the past and wasn't really that impressed with them, I have had good experiences with them when going hands free. Well, anyways, I had been lurking on here reading reviews and such for about a week or so and decided to pull the trigger on the MPH.
BAM! SHOPPING CART. CHECK OUT. SHIP IT!
It arrived today and thus, so did I!
That was quite possibly the closest thing, to the real thing, that I've ever experienced in my entire life, or ever thought was possible! I know it probably sounds like I'm exaggerating, and I am. But, I digress.
It wasn't that the toy made me pop right away. I can pretty much hold out as long as I want to as long as I'm not being over stimulated. That's never been a problem for me. But holy crap the interior of that thing is VERY reminiscent of the real deal! I mean, you can really work that puppy!
I could go on and on, and I have,
but I want to thank the site and the folks in this forum for inadvertently convincing me to make the transition to onaholes from fleshlights. Why don't more people know about this miracle of self gratification?!
Once again, thank you to everyone that posts on here and for the non-judgmental culture that seems to permeate this forum. Pat yourself on the back. You guys are
airtight
err, alright.

Nice post - thanks! I nodded in agreement with much of what you said. I recall the time when I thought Flashlights were the Next Best Thing, but once I went Meiki, I couldn't go back. First the sleeves, and then the Cadillac of sex toys - the Meiki Extreme Pleasure Hips. EPH and her sister EPH Shinsei are my favorites.
I also agree with you on the civility of the ToyDemon forums and in the product reviews. The very few spammers - like the one who responded to you - are thankfully few and far between, and I always report these posts to the Moderator when I come upon them.
Welcome to the graduate school.

How does the EPH compare to the MPH in your opinion? And what's the difference between the regular and the Shinsei? Pardon my ignorance as I'm still getting caught up on my research.

Biggest difference is the degree of softness. The EPH and EPH Shinsei have a ToyDemon softness rating of 8, so they feel the same from the outside. The Shinsei is a dual-layer hip, and gives a fraction more stimulation inside the canal.
The MPH has a softness rating of 7, like the majority of the hips and KOKOS dolls. A softness rating of 7 means that the hip and the tunnel is more rigid, provides less internal flexibility and is a little harder on the penis. In my opinion, also less realistic.
After much experimentation I only buy toys with a softness rating of 8 or 9. The others eventually found their way into the trash.
