I had better results in Tokyo. Have never tried Korea. Now I am stopping over in Southern China again and will try to get a bargain or two (see other post on shopping disappointments during Chinese New Year).

Anyone have leads on shopping (retail or wholesale) in Guangzhou, Dongguan or Shenzen? I will report back with results. I will not be crossing into Hong Kong.
